This afternoon service was absolutely amazing I mean amazing I'm so blessed to have Pastor Robert as my pastor because he delivers the word and the Holy Spirit actually confirms that I am understanding as Pastor Robert always says at the end of each service ask the Holy Spirit what is being said to me and today I needed that so much cuz it was crystal clear. I love you Pastor morris. I cannot wait until the men's Summit in April hallelujah hallelujah I love my Gateway Family and I am so blessed to be apart of a family that truly loves and cares for me.

I love my church. All nations, all colors, and all backgrounds bowing before Jesus. We are not perfect but rather perfectly held together by God.

Me and my cat and dog friends watched this online at home this evening. One of my dog's name is Grace. Pastor Robert, Grace got saved, came BACK to Jesus AND she was baptized in the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in tongues ! LOL naw, seriously tho, how many times was the (most beautiful, wonderful) word "grace" used in this (most amazzazing, life changing) message? Idk but every time Pastor said it she perked up her ears and licked my tears and snot from my face!! ❤

This was a great sermon. For some reason after watching, it I felt like I need to watch Jentzen Frankin, I watched his message from two weeks ago "What are you hungry for" and I was amazed at how the two messages were so different BUT they tied together wonderfully. I am so grateful and blessed to be able to watch both of the great Sheperds..

So so blessed by Pastor Robert's messages,we have grown in word in gateway. We used to attend Frisco campus,now God asked us to move to India for our extended family's salvation .it's been 3 weeks in India now ,we miss gateway very much. Please keep us in your prayers for all our needs, specially health of our family. The love we see for our God in gateway is amazing and we are so grateful for everything in Gateway. God bless you all abundantly, all the Pastors and staff everyone are in our prayers.

I’m asking the same question, Vanessa. In all sincerity, I have to ask Pastor Robert, when does the part of “obedience” to His Holy Word, come in?! There are a lot of IFS AND BUTS in The Word, that we are commanded to follow, or we can not enter the Kingdom. I believe that “believing” equals obedience, as does faith is an act of obedience also. “Even the demons believed.” We read also, in His Word, that 23,000 FELL in one day, and they had been “saved” at one time. Matthew 17.13,14 Maybe he will elaborate on this, in his next 2 messages.🙏

I’m with you. I’m looking into Robert Morris now, and his sermons. I’m finding a lot of deceptive and misconstrued material. He seems to twist the Word, prosperity preaches, brings Mormans and other prosperity preachers in to speak to the congregation, and the church covers up scandals instead of being repentant. Pastor Robert Morris himself brags about his giving in his giving series where he talks about tithing. He preaches about God telling him that his wife, Debbie is his top priority over God because he can’t love God without loving his wife first, and this weeks message about how we are saved by grace alone. But I agree with you, this is a dangerous sermon. We are to obey as Christ followers. And we are to be dead to sin and be renewed. Sinning isn’t ok just because we’re covered by grace. Repentance is important. After going to service and hearing this message, it made me look into him and his preaching more and compare it to the Bible. There are sermons where he doesn’t even read the passage correctly or care to correct himself. Matthew 7:15. I have reached out and I would like to speak with a pastor at the church to discuss further. He may just be very lost, but this authority position is dangerous, considering.

Did you mean 1st Corinthians 10:8? If that’s what you meant, those people were not saved. They were living in unrepentant sin and God punished them for their actions/behavior (sin). They received their wages.

See ALL of 10, especially verses 2-12*. They HAD BEEN saved, and FELL in one day. See Psalm 51 (all) 51.9,10* If David had not been saved, why would he be asking the Lord to NOT take the Holy Spirit FROM him? Plus, many more scriptures proving that once saved is not always saved. We can not take the bait of Satan, for Jesus died on the Cross for each of us, to live FOR Him, and to live obediently until death. Grace is not approval to live in purposeful sin, daily.

Wow, I’d not heard him say that Debbie is before God, are you sure? For we know that God is First, before anyone!!👍 Yes, I’d be glad to sit down with him, or another pastor at Gateway to get explanations/teachings on specific scriptures in God’s Word, for He has the final word in all things. The scriptures are very clear to me, aren’t they to you? 🙏🙏🙏 I’d prefer to talk with Pastor Robert concerning a very specific message that is not preached in the church houses often, for they skirt the issue, saying very little. 🙏❤️🙏

@@sallydavidson4204 I’ve read the chapter and the verses you cited and also I’ve read commentaries on ch. 10 and nowhere does the topic of someone losing their salvation is inferred or suggested. The chapter is about idolatry and the warnings against it.

Are you saying "once saved, always saved"?

Amen! Or I think it’s more correctly called eternal security. I once heard an old pastor say it this way… “if we could loose our salvation we would. How arrogant is it for someone to think they can loose their salvation, but they don’t because they are doing everything right?” It made me really think. The only reason for our salvation assurance is Christ and the Fathers ability to keep us when we fail.

The Trinity is involved in every aspect of the believer's salvation. The Father has prepared your salvation (Ephesians 1:4). The Son has paid for your salvation (Romans 3:25). The Spirit has preserved your salvation (Ephesians 1:13-14). Glory to God!
