Exactly!!!! People nowadays just don't want to make any efforts towards strengthening their relationships.. One thing goes wrong and one of them stops trying thinking that it was never meant to be!!!

There is no right person nor right time. That's what Hollywood sold you, and that's why people are more and more single and lonely past 30 years old. It's up to you to make the time right, and be ready to be the right person for the other. Not the other way around.

I also gave it everything I could, but when my ex broke up with me, it was because of her family situation (who lives far away), hence, something that was beyond my control. And I, too, thought that she might have been the one for me. But if she were the one, it would have somehow worked out.

@@mac1bc The thing is that I couldn't move to where she went, since I have to do my teacher's program in the country I'm living in. Before she left, she assured me that she would come back after some months, however, she changed her opinion because she wanted to stay close to her family. I don't begrudge her and although it still hurts, I'm trying to move on. I guess this is the universe telling us that we were not meant to spend our lives together.

When you meet the right person, it will be the right time indeed. I have met my boyfriend when I was abroad in England for half a year. We connected immediately but the fact that I had to go back to my country soon was in both our minds. When that time came we decided to give it a try, if it doesn't workout at least we tried rather than giving up on it at that moment later with the thought of "what if?"... and now almost 3 years later I moved to England, and we're living together happy as ever 😊

I believe that timing is never right. so many things happen to us, accidents, opportunities and so on. People come and go. Life is unexpected, thats the beauty of it. Only few things stay in your life for real. Only those few people we really a connection with. I think that no matter which circumstances, everything worth pursuing is gonna work. Desire and passion will always be stronger. Love will always win against distance and time. If you really want something, you must fight for it. Nothing is giving to you. To be honest, if the girl you love said “you’re the right person, but wrong time.” Just let her go, its worth it. Because after moving on(hardest thing ever), I found myself the best gf ever. Thinking back at my ex, she’s nothing compare to who I’m with right now. So whoever gf/bf said that to you. Just know, you’ll find someone better. You may meet the wrong person at the right time You can meet the right person at the wrong time And you can meet the right person at the right time, but at the wrong place. I believe that, if you truly want to meet the right person, let fate do its work, perfect time can happen by accident or on purpose, it's just a matter of time before you meet them

I think you mistake "right" for "soul mate". Soul mate is someone who has a piece of you, maybe 5% maybe 20%, that you recognize, that you are connected to and totally understand. It is a... soul mate. You read him so well and see a total reflexion of your inerself. You have many soul mates but it is very rare to meet them, that is why it is so difficult to let go. Whether you could stay with your soul mate for a learning journey about each other or not is your choice and his choice. Soul mate are not necessarily for life, they come to teach you something about yourself, touch some part, make you grow. And sometime you have to let go and it is hard because the experience is so powerful and so enriching. It is your choice. His choice. As you will learn, "right time" has not so much to do with it. Choice does.

This hit me hard... I met a guy who moved in with us in a shared apartment. He wasn't my type at all so I didn't think I'd fall for the guy. I was done with men after my last breakup. But it was the little things that he did... like asking me (a stranger at the time) to go for ice cream after the electricity went out and I told him I didn't like the dark (I swear our apartment is haunted y'all) and little things like turning up the volume on the radio every time I told him I loved the song/s. I later found out he doesn't like the songs and that our taste in music was really different. We'd walked and explored a city neither of us lived in (since we were here to get our degrees). I came to love animals because he's a VET student and he showed me how gentle animals can be... I realised after a few hangouts that I was falling for the guy. But then... reality hits. He moved back to his hometown after struggling with his studies. While I was planning on ways to ask him out, he was finalising things with the uni and set to return home. When I finally had the courage to ask him out on a date, he'd told me that he was back at home and that he was never coming back. I couldn't even bring myself to ask him why he left without saying anything because... well, I felt like I didn't have a right. It hurt and I'd cried but I got over it... So Sebastian, if you're reading this (I doubt you are but-), I liked you. Really liked you. I think of you from time to time and I miss you very much. It's been four years now but I still can't get you out of my mind. You're not my type but I fell for your kindness and the way you laugh and your dry sense of humour. My heart was broken for a while and I've been alone for so long until I met you that afternoon. You were that little light I needed. I don't know if you feel anything towards me but I'd like to thank you for being my friend and spending time with me. It'll make me happy if you think of me from time to time too :")

I was the guy in this situation. Why I left without saying anything to her was because I didn't think she was interested. 2 years later now she's pregnant. I'd say if you really can'n stand the thought of them being a parent with another person, reach out before it's too late. My situation is different though. She rejected me a few times before. Soft rejection but I pushed until the real rejection. Then I stopped, avoided her but was professional toward her. Then over a few weeks she sees how I am with others and how I just am normally by myself (she never gave me a chance before). Then she'd be really sweet and submissive toward me, buying me things, complimenting me, always gazing and smiling. But she gave such a clear rejection that she didn't want to lead me on so I thought this was just a platonic admiration. Even though she gave doe eyes and kept flirting, asking me to join her with friends for dinner, beer, it was just her usual friendly personality. She rejected me after all. I didn't want to be lead on again so I remained skeptical with my walls up. But now I'm not so sure. That could've been her thinking the hints were enough. And because I didn't bite thinking she's only leading we on, she took that as disinterest on my part. But I left because I made the decision at the time for both of us. She's not asking me out when we're alone, or starting conversation. Even though she sighs from nervousness when I'm near, and opens up to me about herself when I never initiate conversation with her. And she tries to find out more about me. She becomes aloof when we're alone, and when I'd flirt to test the waters again, there was nothing reciprocated. But then the next day she's flirty. So was she nervous at the time or just playing games? Like I said, I made the decision to leave because if she was truly interested, she would've done more. Now I regret not trying at least one more time, or giving her one more clear chance. Because I hadn't thought about how I'd feel seeing her get pregnant/married with someone else. I also hoped she would reach out and risk her vulnerability like I did asking her out all those times, sort of like a test to see if she actually does like me. Because if it were the other way around I would find a way to get in touch. But she didn't reach out. Maybe she wasn't interested at all. Maybe she figured I moved on because I was so aloof and unreceptive to her advances if they were advances. Anyways, the point is he could've had a million reasons why he did what he did. Before it's too late, ask him. Maybe my story will help you make an important decision and change your life for the better. At the very least you'll find an answer sooner rather than regretting not taking action in the future on "what if."

Viet Lee oh my god same!! I'll be 25 on Nov6 and still trying to find the right person and in right time! Ppl always ask me why I'm not married or not dating someone( to them am aging) it makes me feel bad actually because all my friends are married with kids! Ugh 😑

I'm in a long-distance relationship, but luckily we had a year together before she had to return from University Exchange. We're almost 3 years strong now, and frequently visit one another. I plan to take a 6-month working holiday in her home country, and then to another country together for a working holiday later on.

ahh,, this one made me teary cuz i can relate to this on almost daily basis. i come across so many beautiful girls in NYC while im commuting in subway to work or somewhere.. like even a girl walking by... for a second our eyes meet & my heart just beats fast as i am mesmorized by her beautiful face and sparkling eyes.. i feel as if she is the ONE but since i'm late to work!! n have to rush. i feel what IF... i had spoke to her, she could be my soulmate.. some girls have looked back at me n felt the connection but words sometimes don't come out then comes time to depart n leave eachother never to see eachother every again..

Well damn!!! This video literally just describes my current situation. I'm so caught up in thoughts like "what if he's the one" and "if we try will we work out", I don't know it just sucks that sometimes we can't be with the people we truly like... smh I guess it's life. :'(

You're totally right about people appearing in your life because of the choices you make. I moved to Germany and Japan and it's incredible what happens when you're in places new places alone :)

I relate so much! The last 7 years of my life, I spent a lot of time travelling, for months at a time, sometimes even a year (internships abroad, exchanges, just pursuing being a digital nomad). And travelling always led me to some of the most interesting souls who I connected with instantly. They were always short lived because of the circumstances - usually being, me leaving. I had so many heartbreaks during these years because it felt like my dreams were also taking me away from potential relationships but also people I constantly felt like were soulmates. Fast forward to last year when I graduated and moved to Argentina - I met my now boyfriend and true soulmate days after arriving. For us the distance is nothing (he's actually living in japan now and I've moved to Toronto lol just like the video). I mean it's not nothing.. it's really hard. But when you have time to build a relationship and you know it's a person worth fighting for, the distance is just a matter of space

I can give you a tl;dr: since I recently went through something similar: Basically neither of us wanted to break up, but we did because it just wasn't going to work out. We're both young and still have a lot more of college to look forward to, and LDR California to Massachusetts is too taxing when you can only see each other once every six months. It sucks and tbh it's been almost 5 months since we broke up and I'm still not over her; and tbh I'm not really sure but I think she's still not really over me. Sometimes it really is the right person, but the timing can be so wrong. Worst case scenario can sometimes become a reality too. Like, when whenever you talk to a different woman, and all you can think of is "I wish she was her instead"

it's really hard to invest in a relationship when you only met someone for less than a week. He was probably the right person, but the amount of time to get to know if he was worth wasn't enough, and vice versa.

My entire summer. I'm still not over him...we both liked each other but the seasons changed and he went to college, me back to high school. The chemistry is still there, but our 4 year age gap and distance makes it the worst timing in the world. I'm glad I met him; I see the world in a newer perspective now. Talking about it makes me feel better.

I just ended a two and a half year relationship with my girlfriend, she told me the same thing “was this the wrong place and wrong time” and for some reason, even though I wanted to stay and try to work things out, I didn’t believe that to be true. Some things don’t work out for a reason and I’m glad you found your way. It takes some real alone time and self reflection to realize the person you fell in love with wasn’t who you needed to be with

the editing made my day, cleared my skin, raised my grades and cured my depression. really, that was great.

I actually met my boyfriend at the wrong time. We met at a dance class and got on well immediately - similar tastes and jokes, and stuff, but it just didn't seem to affect me. It was like trying to light a match which gives you sparks, but doesn't burn. Nothing clicked in my heart besides the fact that he's gorgeous and I like a lot of things about him and also sadness that it is nothing more than that. We didn't see each other for two years, and then randomly decided to attend the same dance class and met there again. And that time it all worked out - we fell in love and have been together for six years now. So yeah, I do believe that sometimes we need some time to deal with other stuff in our lives, date other people maybe, grow up, and then try that spark again.
