I love how so many reaction videos show the people grooving to Kiriko's combat song, and then how the song drops out entirely when the BANG! appears behind the old man getting shot. And how without fail, every reaction person gasps in shock and stops dead in their tracks, no longer grooving. It's such a BRILLIANT setup by the team that made the video. They knew the emotions they were setting up, and how to subvert them to shock the viewer. How all sound fades out, except for that muffled, throbbing heartbeat you hear in your ears when you are experiencing shock, and the labored breathing. How the frame locks in on the grandpa's face, so even though he falls to the ground, it's the background that shifts and not his face, a perspective that is off putting for the viewer. How Kiriko catches him so he doesn't injure himself, but he's still in that same center frame. How slowly in the background you hear that rising sound of discord and tension as the music creeps back in, representing Kiriko's rising fury. And then how it just BURSTS out in a techno soundtrack, complete with spiritual lightshow as she stops playing around, and just unleashes on the gang bangers. It's just SO damn good! Such a fantastic use of imagery, color, framing, and sound to pack in so many emotional triggers and reactions into a very short sequence of frames. Just fantastic.

It is the same guy. Kirikos mom trained Hanzo and Genji and Kiriko so that's a fun connection
