Swear I just started my night shift and remembered this song randomly (I’m 27yrsold) and listened to it and I’ve never had to hold back my tears from feeling so happy n sad that I got it experience this and now so much time has passed and it still gives me the same feeling I got as a kid first time watching this movie. 🥹🤘🏻 this is my childhood and this version is so much more energetic than the original but also so nostalgic that it hurts me in a good way when I listen to it reminding me of what once was and how great that time/era was. 🙏🏻 I miss the 90s/2000s but I’m elated I got to enjoy them as well so fully.

This movie relates so much to me and my father, except he didn't get fired and had to go back to college to get hired at another job. BUUUUT, the fact that I left home to go to college and my father trying to be there for me as much as he can, makes my heart melt. Plus, when I was little, I watched this movie with my father. So it hits me hard haha.

especially at the end here where Max has that look of finally understanding his father and what makes him special as he sees him drive off with his new girlfriend to live his own life in how he says "he is sooo goofy". the way he says that really shows that appreciation and love for his dad sunk in finally.

I knew watching this over and over as a kid that one day I'd be graduating from college, and on that day I would be thinking of this song. Well I worked my but off like Goofy did and here I am, Class Of 2019. Life is pretty crazy sometimes, there's a whole bunch of pieces that make up the whole picture, and while it often seems the pieces are outta sorts, sometimes they all fit right where they need to be. 😊☺️

Ah, the memories this song brings, and the nostalgia with it. I remember watching this as a kid and just appreciating it as a great movie, but only once I became an adult did I realize just how sentimental it would become. The 90's tv show was there for a lot of kids, but the movie, in a sense, came around and said one final goodbye to it's viewers and to the 90's.

Another great song where the update is better is Jennifer Saunders singing "I Need a Hero" from "Shrek 2" that one is a million times better than Bonnie's and Shrek 2 is better than the first film!!!

I remember that I loved this song so much because of this movie I asked for the soundtrack for Christmas when I was around 6 or 7 and I still have it along with the film on VHS!! I am 23 and still love this version of the song!!

The nostalgia . My brothers 4th grade teacher gave him the vhs tape on the last day of school and brought him home . I watched this movie the very last night of college before my last final and the final time I’d be moving out of a dorm. I laughed at how different my college experience was from Max’s, at all the adventures I’d had, the girls I’d talked to, the hard times, and the times I’d miss my family. But then, at the end, I was happy because I’d really done it. I’d really finished college, and it was alright.
