Great video. I like the setup and want to try making some for lures that size and larger. Can you post the info on the hooks and materials you are using? If you have a good supplier you can share. I'm in Brazil, so not sure where to buy but I'm sure I can get similar materials. Also, for the larger lures, would you increase the size of hooks or should the same size work if spaced according to length, as you showed. Thanks!!

Hi Danny, the best hooks out there are Fudo kona cuts. In a larger lure I'd go up to 11/0. Look them up they are in the USA so a bit closer to you.

Hi, what size wire ,in mm, are you using?

I can’t seem to find the glow shrink tube anywhere online. Hard to believe

is it possible/recomendable to use a stiff cable rigged lure and adding a ballyhoo bait? or is it a mono/fluoro mandatory rig thing?

To be honest we do not use ballyhoo in our lures over in NZ but a stitched up ballyhoo behind a small rubber cup face works as a pitch bait with a circle hook attached to the front.

How long of a leader overall do you typically use?

Hi Chris, Personally we do not use wind on leaders so I cut all my traces to 8 meters. (IGFA rules leader will not exceed 9.14M along with a combined length of 12.19m when attaching to a double).

How does Fudo this compare to Jobu hooks?

Jobus are great hooks however in recent years they rust like crazy. The fudo kona cut has a plowing tip similar to the jobu. Kona cut is my go to. Cheers
