Then Mordecai got barely any lmao, by making Mordecai tolerable they made him in less need of char. dev. and he really only had character development in the romance department, barely any at that, and I guess he kinda got more responsible over time but he was always more responsible than Rigby in earlier seasons already as shown by mordecai usually objecting to rigby's bullshit and making it uncommon for him to be the one to start the bullshit

I dunno about modern cartoons, but this was a recurring theme in older shows where the 'best friends' would come off as just people who'd tolerate each cuz they didn't have anyone else to hang out with. sometimes shows has the 'friends' acting more like enemies than anything. Regular Show is by no means a bad cartoon, but in early seasons there were times where I questioned why Mordecai was friends with Rigby. 😂

I mean, I don't remember many episodes where he was this much of a dipshit, only other ones really being Do me a solid and the one where he learns death kwon do to try and kick mordecai's ass over a damn game Edit: also the arm wrestling one where he cheats to humiliate skips but skips takes it too far and kills him over it so Rigby wasn't the only one (though it could be argued skips was less at fault and it was just a slip of character but still he could have restrained enough to at least leave Rigby alive)

I was about to comment on "Do me a Solid." To me this was the lowest Rigby ever got in terms of behavior to his friends (he still had very bad behavior to other people in other episodes though.) This was beyond mean and I didn't buy Mordecai's forgiveness at the end. That would have been a friendship ending right there if it wasn't the end of the episode.

@Calebe Souza Rigby started as an awful character, but he improved himself since season 1. He is easily the character with the biggest amount of growth in the entire series, making him far more likeable than Mordecai as you keep watching. Mordecai mostly stayed the same except that he did get over Margaret and CJ.

@@jerryspringer4791 that's barely ever the reason he gives him a hard time. In the episode in this video he's giving him a hard time for no reason, he's being a dick for the sake of it. Mordecai gives Rigby $50 he was planning to give to Margaret to Rigby instead to change his name from Trash Boat so he doesn't always choose the girl over him. As for Rigbys death look at it this way, it's either: A - They both knew what would happen if they fell of the microwave, so when Rigby pushes Mordecai first and Mordecai nearly slips off, he could have killed him so Mordecai only pushes back in retaliation and STILL feels guilty about it and brings him back despite the fact that Rigby nearly killed him. B - They didn't know what would happen if they fell so when Rigby pushes him Mordecai pushes back not knowing Rigby would die. Making it a complete accident. Also Rigby was a giant dick the entire first three seasons including that episode where he was killed. He tries to kill or at least brutally hurt Mordecai four episodes into the show over a video game. Mordecai saves Rigbys life far more than vice versa. Also Rigby was going to let Skips die for some cake but Mordecai told him no. Rigby was a straight up selfish villain at first whereas Mordecai was just a bit of a jerk.

Something I like about Regular Show is that it’s not afraid to have its character act like complete assholes from time to time. They never go too far with it in my opinion and it makes them seems more three dimensional because I feel like we all have moments in our life where we look back and realize we were being a real dick.

Switched benson's fortune cookie which nearly costing the destruction of the entire park AGAIN The list can go on. And mordecai immediately regretted killing his best friend, it was outta anger. Rigby does things simply because he wants to.

Not gonna lie, this felt way longer than 2 minutes and basically told the whole episode.

1:56 R: Wall buddy spread all my garbage throughout the park! M: It also redistributed all our furniture. R: Well yeah but... B: aaAAAAAAHHHHHH!

Rigby went from being my least favorite character to one of my favorites by the end of the show. Love that character development for him.

I always liked Rigby; he's cool, funny, and entertaining. I was shocked to see Regular Show having good reviews on the early seasons because Rigby was an unlikeable character to some people.

Well, atleast Rigby wasnt' simping for 11 minutes straight... Well, only that time he simped for a trucker hat and almost died because of that, but whatever.

こんぺいとー Let’s be honest, Rigby is better in relationships then Mordecai but he’s an asshole, Mordecai sucks in relationships but he’s a good person, both of these characters grew over the seasons and they’re both great characters.

I think this is just a testament to how good a friend Mordecai was. Aside from the later seasons. Even though Rigby was being a total tool, he stuck by him because he was still his friend, he just realized that Rigby was being a tool.

Deandre It’s not that he was a douche, he was a total dumbass. Benson told him not to grill the hot dogs, and he did it anyway by putting too much gasoline, Mordecai told him to hold the door because the door closes on its own and he uses 2 bags of ice to hold it one laying down and standing up which is pretty terrible support, should’ve gotten a few instead of 2 but it’s cartoon logic. And nearly got everyone killed from drowning in I don’t know some kind of sauce? He only got away with the hot dogs because of the wrapper and claimed Benson was the one that bought them.
