Christ give the guy a break. Why is it bad that he's excited and passionate about the people he interviews. If the interviewers were less into it I guarantee the very same people would be saying "ohh why do they not act more interested? They're such a dull interviewer". It's sweet that he's so excited and it's nice to see.

Its only because these interviews are so inconsistent, we are all here to geek out but I wish there was some structure to them. watched plenty where you are guessing tuning and string gauges

1: Both have incredibly talented musicians. 2: Both have stood out as innovators in their genres, influencing many younger groups and even their own contemporaries. 3: Both have conceptual or themed albums. 4: Both have a super dedicated cult followings. AND MOST IMPORTANTLY... Canadians, eh?

Never again will i be able to see a package of Ernie Ball strings the same way. Thank you, Todd.

I love that the interviewer is genuinely excited to speak to these guys.

I enjoyed that interview, and especially that not only was it a cool insight into one of the best bands in the world but also that it was the interviewer's favorite band - it was cool to see the awe and reverence on his face - as, often in these interviews the interviewers come off as kind of fake. This was refreshingly genuine.

I saw Propagandhi's first US show in a basement in Minot, ND, during a blizzard in the mid 90's and it's still one of the best shows I've ever seen.

That's definitely how Canadians sound in the Prairies, but nobody sounds like that on the West Coast. I've been told that people sound more California-ish here in BC.

Love the enthusiasm in this interview. Propagandhi is a killer band that helped introduce the youth to great music, and gave us plenty to think about. They’ve done a lot of good things for people during their career. Definitely a highly influential and legendary band

Sulynn is definitely the most comfortable with the host's rapid fire geekery (in a good way). She is definitely the best part of the interview. She rips for sure and it's awesome that she also has such an interest in the gear side of playing.

They're such hosers, I love it. Our hometown hero's here in Winnipeg.

I don’t know, I think you handled this pretty well. Propagandhi is also my all time favorite band and if I had the opportunity to do this interview with Chris Hannah, I’d probably shit my britches. Fellow nerds unite!

I've been listening to propagandhi for 25 years, holy shit. I love those guys, Chris is so down to earth, such a kind human, I'd love to meet him someday.

Best big rig rundown ever, after watching one minute. I got to see them live, he acted appropriate, lol

Been a fan since the 90s, and finally got to see them live last year. I felt exactly how the interviewer does. Nerded out so hard when I got take a selfie with Chris after the show.

This was awesome, Propagandhi is incredible and have been killing it for over 20 years! Chris and Sulynn are super talented guitarists.

The honesty in the enthusiasm is great!

In case anyone is wondering....yes, all Western Canadians talk like Todd and we’re damn proud of it. It’s a FUBAR thing. Watch the movie if you want to know what I’m talking about :-)

Fun Fact: "Boys of Summer" was written by Mike Campbell from Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers. Mike played it for Tom and Tom said "nah man, I ain't hearin' it", so it made its way to Don Henley. Don recorded it, and played it for his buddy Bob Seger, who said, 'yeah that's great, but you should have sung it higher. chicks dig when you sing high", so Don spent the weekend pitching it up higher and higher trying to find the right key and re-recorded the already finished track, which is the version we all know and love.

Fuckin' love these guys! They have been the soundtrack to countless skate sessions, road trips, parties.. etc!

I think he held his composer and stayed professional better than I would have. Propagandhi is a living legend still thrashing today. Been a fan since 97 and still have never gotten a chance to see them live.

If anyone wants to hear an incredible band, check out one of Todds bands from way back when called I Spy. The disk is Perversity is Spreading, it has all their songs, I've been obsessed with since I was 14.

You should interview Hot Snakes. John Reis and Rick Froberg have to of the coolest guitar setups Ive seen from a punk band.

Just came across this video. Have been a big fan of Propagandhi for a long time but my favorite guitar from any punk song was in 60 Billion Served when Todd was in I Spy. Appliances and Cars by them is really good too.

Chris likes to party hard... Also enjoys his rock n roll the same!

Remember when he was using a Mesa Mark III back in 96 or 97, loved the sound back then.

I would rather have an enthusiastic interviewer who asks inciteful, refreshing and probing questions, than a bored, disinterested one who asks the same, standardized questions just to pass time.

Every Propagandhi interview sounds like the real life Spinal Tap.

I forgot to mention that my old band Millhouse out of San Antonio Texas opened up for Propagandhi back in 1995 I believe right before Less Talk or maybe it was for the Less Talk tour. My brothers and I hung out with Jord who was a really cool guy.

See if you can do A Wilhelm Scream! Also really unique that they use AxeFx. I feel like more punk bands could benefit from using AxeFx or Kempers because they don't travel with the elaborate setups that most metal bands do (whenever have you ever heard about a punk band not called Green Day having a guitar tech).
