One remark regarding rules: The second player gets to draw a card and play it for free in the middle lane before the first players initial turn.

Jeff needed the win. 😂 This game seems like a lot of fun, I’m definitely going to look into it! I appreciate that y’all do these because this is definitely one of those games that would confuse me as far as making my way through the directions, but in reality is so simple to actually play. Also, totally unrelated, where did you get that lamp behind you, Jamie?? Great video, guys!

@@FostertheMeeple Thanks to your video, I totally don't need to return the game. By sheer coincidence, I have been learning some German, so the bits on the cards are totally manageable for me. It was the rulebook I was struggling with, but your playthrough totally sorted everything out.

I love the art in this game, I always worry when games have to played sideways that you might lose some clarity in the text or art but this one seems pretty easy to follow!

Honestly, I thought it was going to be tough to read sitting side by side. It’s definitely better to be sitting across the table from each other (which we did on our initial plays before filming)

@@FostertheMeepleI play a lot of Mystic Vale which you usally have to read cards sideways to make it fit but in the end ive played it enough its easy to do

Looks like it could be a fun game. I definitely like the art on the cards. Curious, how fiddlie does it feel having to constantly place and remove the tokens? Do the abilities feel evenly matched? Keeping it on my radar for now. Thanks for doing the play through...... Congrats Jeff!

The tokens are very finicky to remove. You’re right there. But it wasn’t something that really impacted me enough to make it an issue.

The damage tokens are double sided with 3 damage on the back, so there always only need to be max. 3 tokens on a card (most often only 2)

This looks like a game we would enjoy. Anyone know where it can be purchased?

Sorry I can’t watch this video until 1st October. I know I’ll want to hunt down a copy as it’s just my kind of game so I won’t torture myself while on the home straight of trying not to buy more games!

Just watched as Joe from discord has alpha access on BGA and he agreed to play with me on there. Your play through makes it look so fun. I love head to head 2 player card games. What would you compare the feel / game play to? I imagine it feels a bit like air land and see but I haven’t played that!

Anyone ever heard of a game called Schotten Totten? Just another variation of Schotten Totten.

Actually the only similarities to schotten totten are that there are cards in the middle that act as locations.
