Rift S Touch Controller Teardown, Joystick Cleaning, and Reassembly

This video is a guide on how to disassemble the Touch controller for the Rift S, clean the inside of the joystick to prevent drifting, and reassemble it again. The other tutorials I've seen had been using a Dremel to cut open the ring to take it off, but it's not necessary. Unfortunately, my ring was already broken, so I couldn't show me taking it off with it in one piece. I did put an intact ring back on though, since I had an extra one. I did this repair because my joystick was drifting. The outtake is because I forgot the two screws that go on the ring before putting on the grip cover.
Tools needed:
T5 hex bit screwdriver
Tweezers
Pry tool
Rubbing alcohol (optional, for cleaning joystick)
Q tips (optional, for cleaning joystick)
A lot of patience
If you're going to attempt this, you should have some experience in repairing laptops or small devices first, because some of the wire connectors are the same. It's not necessary though. You also need a lot of patience, and you have to be extremely careful where you put screws. The second or third time I did this, I stuck a screw straight through the board by accident. I had to purchase a "For parts" controller on eBay, then swap boards into the old one. This isn't a difficult repair if you know what you're doing.
I blurred out part of the flashlight that had someone's phone number on it.
I've also taken apart the actual headset part as well, but it's not usually a productive thing to do, since almost no parts exist for it. You can just buy a new headset only for pretty cheap. Let me know if you want to see a video on that.
