I like how the imperial armor looks, but I don't think it's worth 10$ and I wouldn't want to use the same armor the entire game I like to use the armor I get throughout the game. Just doesn't seem worth it

I mean it gives ratchet and rivet more drip so it’s worth it in my eyes. Rebellion outfit ftw

If you already have a story mode game started, and then you buy the deluxe edition, will the extra bonuses transfer to the already started game or do you have to start a brand new game in order to unlock it?

The 5 armor sets (android, rebel, imperial, hacker, and scavenger) are exclusive to the deluxe edition.

ok so I have the standard edition but when I look on the Playstation store, it still says $80 for it even though a have a physical copy of the game. Do I gotta pay $80 or will it show that but only take 10?

Should only be $10. Maybe try upgrading from the game's menu? There's an indication that one of the in-game menus shows what button to press to upgrade. Press R1 in the menu to load your save file apparently. So if I get this right Let’s say one of ur buudy has a physical copy and you can just borrow it, upgrade it for 10bucks then u have a full digital copy of the game??

It’s only worth it if you want to support the franchise. If you’re not a big fan of R&C, I’d say pass on this.

That's a fair assessment for sure.

In short, the Deluxe Edition is just meh unless you are into cosmetics and don’t have a problem with buying the soundtrack/music extra, although previous games included that without the extra cost nonsense. Seems like Insomniac has also become money hungrier, huh.

I consider cosmetic DLC and official Soundtrack/Artbook DLC as *extra cost* as absolute utter trash, not only with Ratchet&Clank games. I could get ALL OF THAT after unlocking Skill Points to get the Art or collecting the Gold/Platinum Bolts for the cosmetics, starting from the very first PS2 games up to the PS4 reboot. But now that it comes to PS5 it’s no longer attainable with in-game currency and I have to pay with IRL money now? BS and nothing else. Not going to support that.

@@digiing1992 stop bitching. They could have weapons or upgrades behind this paywall instead of cosmetics. Be glad that’s not the case EDIT: I guess I should try and be a little less of an asshole. To put it simply, it’s better that cosmetics are behind a paywall rather than gameplay elements. You shouldn’t care anyways if you’re not gonna buy it
