I'd have thrown in a referrence to the "there's no way out of here, it will be dark soon" line from "Manos": the Hands of Fate.

LOVED this video. Huge Potter fan but this was funny! I even laughed a little at the end at the jokes towards Dobby and yet still cried when he died.

Dear Rifftrax: Because of 7:10 I am going to have to send you a bill for one monitor and one pair of shorts. I laughed so hard I spit all over my monitor and soiled myself.

+thesir27 I don't think it's nerdy; I was going to say pretty much the same thing. I thought that even the films portrayed that fact to a decent degree, but I can't be sure because I don't have the luxury of watching them without knowledge of the books. In the first film alone Harry is only really shown doing one thing better than Hermione; flying on a broom. Perhaps people expect the hero/protagonist to be exceptionally talented because it's such a well-used trope, but Harry is only really special because Voldemort made him so.

Hes way better than average at DAtDA, everyone is blown away he can do the patronus so young. And he got good enough grades for auror training, he kicked ass on the tests in book 5. He's not as amazing as Hermione of course but he's also not barely competent like you make it out to be haha. It's true he's only the chosen one because tom picked him to kill though

People's *expectations* of Harry the protagonist blind them to the fact that he has virtually zero agency. He happens to his story, not the other way around. Cripes, much of the time, you could replace him with an inanimate object. A bird, a white deer, an invisible cape, _something_ will come rescue it.

Actually, there's a theory that Harry and Hermione are siblings - not sure why this came up nor how it makes any sense (seeing Hermione was like totally elsewhere the night Voldemort attacked his family), but it makes your comment somewhat valid and gives sense to the fact they don't end up together.

Anastasia Alexandra Oh no! They are TERRIBLE actors! That would be awful!! I love Harry Potter and the Weasley twins are some of my favourite characters, but having either of them playing the new doctor would be a huge mistake(in my opinion)!

Crawford Tillinghast Well, many of the HP actors have come on leaps and bounds in terms of their performance ability so it may be a good idea, I'd have to wait and see! It could well work I suppose, if, and only if, they've (either of them I suppose) improved their acting!
