This is gold Rifftrax is handing out. Seriously, though, this is a Rifftrax classic. Perfect movie for riffing, and their Riff of it is hilarious. Its on my list of must watch Rifftrax episodes. This is so cool for the people that haven't seen this yet.

Well, both do revolve around a repulsive, abusive hillbilly finding a dangerous meteor and inadvertantly causing havoc with it. Although this one has a distinct lack of VAAAAAANCE!!!, so that's a rather large deduction on its part.

Pod People was one of my all time favorite MST3K episodes. Watching a Rifftrax of the movie used in PP's opening credits, now the circle is complete and my life fulfilled. "Oh man here's where the Swamp Thing meets the sweet thang!"

This movie seems hellbent on fulfilling every stereotype about rural folk, and it does a pretty good job. I just want to say that the abusive gun-happy father's actor did a pretty good job playing the role. Most of the cast was wooden enough to make a table, but this guy did a good job I think.

The crazy prospector laugh is what sold me.

This channel is THE SUPERIOR ENTERTAINMENT way beyond all channels with a million plus subscribers. None come close to this level. I don't know what to make of that.

Not 5 minutes after Bill makes that crack about Don Dohler's name in the opening credits, I realize this film will likely have actors that were also in Alien Factor (another Dohler film that Cinematic Titanic featured)...and first one I recognize (as young Moustache Dad from Twilight) is Mayor Plaid Pants.

This film has all the charm of a trailer park wedding.

Ah, I remember the days when huge shirt holes were all the rage.

Yeah, first time I went to see a movie in theaters since 2017. And I was alone too which made it more relaxing. Such a well done riff!

Thanks Rifftrax crew for making me laugh for so many years! I'm now unable to watch a movie without people telling me to shut up, but you've got me through some tough spots in my life with laughter. My life would not be as funny without you guys! See ya guys tonight!!

It started about 40 years ago for me, when Elvira, The Mistress of the Dark, would riff on horror movies on one of the 5 TV stations we had. I will admit that I came for the boobs but stayed for the bizarre movies and hilarious comedy. Ever since then, I've been unable to not make fun of movies while watching them, that's why I get told to shut up!

"Like I alway say, I can make ANYTHING fart"....I spit out my egg nog with that one.

The most frightening thing about this movie is that I escaped from country like that! Whenever I feel anything like false nostalgia for the place, I’ll just play this movie! Mocking this movie is a public service performed by RiffTrax!

Proud to say I actually have the Rifftrax DVD of this! God, this movie is a tough sit...

"Hi, heaven's gate people!" Right off the bat, straight savage.

One of the best riffs. Imagine acting in this movie and getting resurrected 35 years later by Rifftrax.

This is one of those "perfect fit" movies. Its the "some movies" in "Some movies have it coming!"

at one time my wife and I bought several of those multi movies on DVD. this movie appeared on almost all of them.

I don't understand how under-subbed this channel/these guys are. Goes to show you: subscribers mean nothing.

the "drive to Wisconsin for fireworks" joke is such a treat. I defiantly remember that from Michigan. The saddest thing I ever saw, was the fireworks stand on the Michigan side of the border, 1 mile away, the big stuff in Wisconsin.... what was that stand on the Michigan side doing? Oh yeah, selling to this guy. Ahh I love the midwest jokes.

The random Mid-Atlantic accent about 20 minutes in and the pseudo Jimmy Stewart are just choice!

My Best and Only Shirt!

Kinda hoping at any time the film would turn into Champagne and Bullets (aka Geteven). The bar scene when they assemble hunters was missing Shimmy and Sliiide

Goodness gracious, every character in this is quite reprehensible (especially Thompson!), but that ending was gold 😂

Man, the Giant Spiders sure could show this movie how to Invade.

I feel this whole movie is basically "Giant Spider Invasion", only somehow more classless and undignified.

Thank you guys once again. I continue to find solace in your movies since I was a kid way back in the late 1980s during tough times as l am in one right now once again. Your jokes have continued to bring me much joy. If you ever feel like what you do doesn’t really matter, know that there are probably more people like me who you helped who just needed to take a break from their frustrating circumstances. It really means a lot. I honestly hope to meet you guys one day, and shake your hands and just say thank you.

This one is mostly hits! Reminds me of the old days.

Nice to finally see the movie from the intro of pod people

You know what's funny, thanks to Dohler here, I actually thought of a cool Sci-fi horror movie that has a similar plot to all of his movies. In short, the idea is an Alien comes down to earth and arrives in a rural area, then shit gets real when it starts killing people. Though, I believe the difference would be it has a unique alien design and copious amounts of gore and violence.
