Great video and nice guns you have. Very clean stuff. For the breakaway we don't use a clip holding the floatline (the blue Neptonics setup), but we would connect the floatline directly to the red crimped nylon loop. Less stuff in between and the metal clips might open with stronger fish (the clip is maybe the weakest part in the setup, they do bend). One can make a knot to connect the floatline directly to the red mono shooting line. Or use a SS O-shackle with a small thread to securely connect both lines. We also use a lot knots to connect floatlines to floats, etc. All those shark clips are very handy and nice to use but can be a weak part (besides the need to purchase those). Very nice idea to use the latex rubber to push over the crimp! All the best and safe dives buddy!

Ha ha. Cool man. I thought maybe you were just another trad shooter. But I'm more impressed that you are a spearo too. Ha ha Me too. Do you do mostly bluewater or deep reef too? I go to RI every summer to go out with Dave Hochman, but with the new slot, maybe just shore dives. I'm a PFI intermediate diver with 132' max 🤙🤙🤙🇨🇦 cheers dude

@@JParanee1 so what is your preferred hunting? Bluewater or reef? Bluewater is easier for sure , you only have to dive as deep as the flashers! I 🤙😉 I have dove them as deep as 80 and as shallow as 30 , I love that fact, but i rarely get the chance living where I do.
