Riding to the Eterna Primavera Cuernavaca! (Ep 28)

The Motorcycle adventure across Mexico continues! Motorcycling through Mexico has been a blast so far and, even though I was kinda bummed this day for doing so many highway miles, I got quite the surprise at the end of the day. Its not that highway miles aren't scenic or aren't a good way to see something. Its just in my opinion the speed that you travel is normally a little too fast to soak everything in. I have a friend named Jeff Roe who is currently biking from Alaska to Argentina.. I sometimes find myself jealous of the pace that he moves in on the bike. He truly does feel every bump in the road and every pitch in the hill and of course he rembers the down hills. Theres something about that speed that is just so connecting. Dont even get me started on people that walk... For now the bike is a good pace for me. Although I prefer the offroad pace. That normally seems to linger around 30 to 35 miles per hour. The highways in Mexico on a bike seem to linger around 50 to 60mph.
On this episode I drove from Morelia Michoacán through Toluca and got to enter into Mexico State, then made my way to Cuernavaca in Morelos. It was a beautiful day and I especially enjoyed the mountains goin into Cuernavaca!
Hope you guys enjoy and we'll see you around!

This channel is a hidden gem, destined to be huge some day. Those of us who were early subscribers will one day be lost amongst the thousands of people leaving comments. I look forward to seeing his channel outgrow itself. I hope, when this trip is done, that Landon writes a guide book for other motorcyclists to use and follow his path. It won't be long before his name is spoken often in the same sentence as Itchy Boots and other renowned adventure riders. That's his destiny. Be safe, dude!

If you are going up that far north, then you absolutely need to go to Guanajuato capital city. If it is not on your itinerary, then you need to do it. It is an astounding place. You can find nice accommodation there for like $35 a night on Airbnb. I have traveled a lot, and Guanajuato is one of my favorite cities. The architecture is amazing, there are five universities and like 300 bars. Hidden away in weird little places. And LOTS of pretty girls… Hire a guide on the way into town, usually a guy on a motorcycle to take your to your Airbnb. They will be waiting on the side of the road at the entrances. Cost 100 pesos. Otherwise, you will get lost as fuck in the tunnels under the city. Wait….maybe you already did this

To say I’m risking my life? What does that even mean? You said you ride a motorcycle right? That is literally “risking your life”. If we both listened to your advice we should stop riding motorcycles right now. Everything has risk so the real question is how much risk? You say enough to risk my life? I disagree, I believe there is a safe way to travel in Mexico just like there is a safe way to enjoy riding a motorcycle. There are ways to mitigate risk and if you follow the rules like only riding during daylight hours, ride respectfully, learn to communicate, etc. You can enjoy this wonderful country. The videos speak for themselves brother. I’m not dead. So I guess the question I have for you is if you put a percentage on your claim what would you put it at? Risking my life what percentage is it? Is it a flip of a coin 50/50? Is 75% 25% what would you say? Because I agree there is risk and it’s dangerous. It just sounds like our opinions on how much might be different.

@@LandonBishoff Yes..Risking your life,it's your call man..Roads and highways are taken by drug cartels, even the Guardia Nacional works for them..I'm trying to tell, that u should be so "confident" saying that Mexico is a "safe place".. But not with the narcs dude! I'm "risking my life" with cars, not guns! It's so different.. Don't get confused, riding is one thing, thinking that u'r doing "safe" in a "drug cartel country" is another whole thing. Ok,if you disagree it's OK..Do whatever u want to do,just don't say or "encourage" people to get into the mexican roads/highways,take a minute and search in Google for mexican news and how the roads/highways are so "safe"..Oh boy,you need to learn more about "drug cartels. They don't give a fuck if you ride "early/respectful/etc" Thieves doesn't care either..If they think you're a "halcón" (someone that spot the movement in roads) they will catch you.
