OK guys here is my take on your videos. As a lifetime rider and motorcycle enthusiast (not biker) I not only love motorcycles and live each day with motorcycles as a primary element I also enjoy reading and one of my favorites is " The Perfect Vehicle" by Melissa Holbrook Pierson. What i like about her style is what I like about most women who write about motorcycles. No macho man HD nonsense and the tough guy BS but rather a honest viewpoint regarding the joy involved in this magnificent mode of travel. You guys personify this theme in your videos. There is none of the "Born to be wild" worn out biker nonsense rather honest enjoyment of the machine and passing through the environment rather than invading it with loud pipes and brass manliness. Please stay true to what you are doing a yours is the best MC documentary on the internet. Keep it up

To find sunny spots, buy a cheap compass and use it to point your nose south. Now, look left, ahead, and right. If there are any trees, cliffs, or other tall objects in those directions nearby you aren't going to get sun from that direction.

So happy to see you got to spend time at the Blue Ridge Motorcycle Camp (BRMC). We have been going there for many years. I also held a K bike rally there for 12 years. They are great people and have wonderful food, on weekends. You picked a great summer camp sight. The sound of the river makes for great sleeping. Lack of sun makes it chilly in the spring or fall. We also have a Bushtec (Spartan) that we pull with our 93 K75S and a REI Kingdom 8 tent. Shame you didn't have more time to enjoy the area. The list of great roads is much to long to list with MUCH less traffic than the Dragon or BRP. Thanks again for the videos. RIDE SAFE!!

We are from Iowa and we have stayed in that area numerous times. We have ridden the length of the BRP 3 times and obviously absolutely love it. We have ridden there in the past but now we haul our less long-distance-worthy bikes to a campground south of Cherokee (near Balsam, NC). I can’t wait to go back and it’s hard to come back home when we are there. Friendly people, great roads, plenty of curvey roads, because here in Iowa we don’t have curves in the roads we just have corners. Great videos, they help us forget the 1 1/2 feet of snow outside! Keep them coming!

Corners can be fun as well. Rich could ride the curvy roads forever and I (Chris) was ready for a little more straight-a-way sometimes - like to take in the scenery and you can't do that as much on curvy roads.

When I watch your videos, I keep thinking some day, some day! Retirement comes in about 6 years, then I can head across the country. But at least being in So Cal, there’s still lots of great riding and scenery within a vacation’s distance (1 week at a time), and even in a day’s ride all year long, which is why I’m staying here as long as possible! Like everyone else who watches, I’m jealous! Thanks for posting these!

I live in NC not far from here and recently came across your channel after getting my first motorcycle this September. Love your videos so much - thank you for sharing your lives and adventures with us! I thought I’d mention that the town of Cruso and the Blue Ridge Motorcycle Campground were devastated by Tropical Storm Fred this August and are still cleaning up and recovering in November. I was just down in Cruso today bringing some supplies to a church that is providing meals to the community and the campground is still in really rough shape. It looks like they have some info on their Facebook page where folks can buy gift cards online/support them. Thought I’d let you and your followers know in case anyone is interested! I fished downriver of the campground while standing on a huge I-beam of a bridge that washed out, and there are still plenty of folks who lost their homes or are still unable to move back in as cleanup and restoration/rebuilding continues.

Awesome, just what I needed. Snow bound here in Mn .....dreaming today " well actually everday" of warmer weather, wishing and hoping a trip and camping plans for the upcoming summer. Even dug my tent out to check fitment into luggage compartments.IT FIT yes!! This week I got my bike back after getting full service done..steering head bearings, dumped Honda's tapered bearings for All Balls Racing bearings, new Dunlop E 4's front and back, brake pads front and rear, all fluids, K and N air filter. Chomping at the bit. As always stay safe.

Thank you for taking us along on your travels, there are a lot of us that need to know we can still get out and see the country. That road where you got gas, Harley Creek or Harley Branch, is where my Father was born. The river, East Fork Pigeon River is where I learned to fish. Also, the mountain roads around Asheville, NC is where I learned to ride a street bike. There are great places to see and very good roads to ride on in that area. Wish I could have met up with you while you both were back here.

Pour 1 can of french onion soup over meat in same pan, cook till boil then simmer a few minutes letting meat absorb juices Serve over toasted buns or bread with mustard Chips on the side and a beer to top it off. Good from Tents to a group renting a 2 story house and everything in between.
