While I agree that a comparison between the different motors would be nice, I'm going to advocate for a feature on those 155mm crank arms and how shorter crank arms work on E-mountain bikes compared to traditional lengths. Maybe a hill climb challenge using various lengths.

Great report once again.Fantastic event. Leaves me jealous as hell. As others noted already, I also would love to hear more details about the differend engines competing. Power, range, drag, general feel, "noise", etc. And one remark, could you avoid to shred that hard with the blocked rear tire when cornering on such nature trails? No Problem in a bike park but those are sometimes centuries old walking paths and we shall be happy to be allowed to ride on them. This shredding looks great for the camera but does hurt and erode them more than necessary. You are not in a race there. Take those few more seconds and ride them a little more gentle.

5:08 "Italy's hottest club is "Wadda Treat"! EMBN presenter Shimano McHaibike is back with an all-new club that answers the question, “YA WOT MATE?!?” Don’t look for a bouncer - there isn’t one. Instead, the door is guarded by ten jacked roadies on electric fatbikes. *This place has absolutely everything* : ice sculptures of bottom brackets, vegan athletes, a Doddy wearing cable tie jewelry, room after room of broken suspension forks, and none other than Blake Samson doing back flips into a tub of WD40. Look who just walked in - is that Natalie Portman? No, it’s an old Irish man who we call Neil Donoghue."

few questions? is this open to anyone. how much does a trip like that cost. did you have to pay to rent the bikes. when are these events available and whens the next one. after these event's is it possible to visit with your own e-bike only asking because of batteries on planes ( is that an issue ) really enjoyed watching this I liked the Scott Genius, and the HIA BIKE. although my favourite has to be the HIA BIKE xduro allmtn 9.0 that looks the business in the blue and green. thanks for another great show!

What are the 155mm crank arms on the Ghost Sl amr, GIO? Shimano do a 165mm XT which is the shortest for the steps motor but I want a 160mm for mine..

I am looking to buy an e-bike in the near future, was hoping this video would give me some pointers, and aside of how much travel is best, it didn't.

Current perch is a 9 year oldTrek Fuel EX8. Not looking to ditch this anytime soon but the ebike would compliment this in the short term.

It is hard to say generally, there are in general e-bikes that are better than others for various reasons, but depending on a publication's commercial influence's no one is going to say absolutely what they like best, as we have to remain broadly independent yet also pay attention to where advertising comes from, so we are not going to saying something is rubbish, but I would say that in general at the high end of the bike market there isnt really a rubbish product, companies cant make them anymore, they wont sell. But saying that there are some things that work better than others for given tasks. Some opinions are personal. Jones for example likes bikes i don't like (im from a rival publication) I like bikes he doesn't like... so sometimes it depends on who is actually reporting on them to the thread thats going to be followed... Jones is a very experienced legendary rider and tester, he knows his stuff and although I work at a rival publication, I would say absolutely if he likes it, there is a reason why... and it is not because someone paid him to. how much you want to spend? Above 5K? or below... thats a point where bikes start to be different, i.e. get more exotic...

why not tell the truth about range on a ebikes in rough terrian and steep climbs mine will give if your lucky 15miles per charge i have 2 batteries so have 30miles range in rough terrian , not much fun in the wikds if your battery is flat and you need a hotel to charge it and 4 hours to wait at least and a meal starts to get exspensive ..
