Clean platforms, a working elevator... yes, that's new.

When Telford central opened its news station facilities a few years ago the lifts were so awful that they had to set up an account with the local taxi firm to drive passengers from one platform round to the main entrance and car park because it kept breaking. It’s better now but I hated going there for the first year and chose Stafford which is now the one I use mainly anyway as it’s bigger and goes more places but the same distance from my house as Telford

Quick posting and great video. Thanks Jen.👍🙂
You can’t beat a new station! Thanks getting up so early Jen to show us all the sights. I’ve passed through the site of Reading Green Park whilst it was under construction so it’s great to see it completed.
Quickly published - well done

Ooo a goody bag. Hyper jealous about the badge. Great to see this finally opened. It's been talked about for decades. My late Dad always mentioned it when we came down to Reading to visit and he would have loved to have seen it. Great customer announcement BTW, kudos to GWR.

So long that the original planning permission for it expired and they had to reapply.
Yeah good to see a new station .and the staff giving out goody bags....fair play!
Congratulations on another great video. Two months ago I'd never heard of your channel and you're up at Geoff Marshall quality at least :) Keep it up Jen (congratulations from Worcs)!

Brilliant Jen, honestly the station really looks amazing, does have a London vibe to it.
Thank you for being up and about and there for the first train! You're right about the need for bins outside the station. I felt a bit self conscious going into the station building to deposit my lunchtime meal deal wrappers.
You’ve come so far since the days of Jens Roads. So proud!
Despite being in the Deep South of the UK, temperatures overnight still fall to single figures. We have waited for years for this station. Will be useful for the nearby football stadium. Saw Jen bought a ticket to Mortimer - that a small station with a Brunel station.
I'm having early 70's vibes from this new station.
See you and Geoff on Reading Station. Just live south of it so often visit the Station. :D
Very impressed by your dedication to get there so early and to upload it so quickly - thanks for showing us the new station 👍🏻

Reading Green Park Is a Good Station Recently I Had Gone Through There Whilst Getting The Train To Basingstoke From Reading
Published so quickly, I'm impressed.
Great vlog Jen. Nice to see Reading Green Park finally open! I enjoyed watching as always. That goodie bag looks cool.
Reading Green Park station looks amazing & that station is on a line that i travel along quite a lot from Reading to Basingstoke & ill def be popping to that station in a few weeks and it will feel weard next time i travel on that line on a GWR train when the train stops there anyway brilliant vlog as always
I think you need at least another coffee for getting up so early! Thanks Jen.

It's a strange one, it's a mixture of both old a new, new technology and earth tone colours but with the feeling of being a small village station at the of business park.
Ahh the life of someone in Basingstoke whose only aim in life is to get to Reading is slightly better than someone in Reading whose aim is to get to Basingstoke
Brilliant video Jen, Reading Green Park does look like a nice station. :)
Always great to see a new station opening! Nice video. I thought Geoff might be there too, as he's a London boy! But couldn't see him. Enjoy your videos! 👍🏻
Excellent video Jen its nice to see new stations.
Appreciate the way you coordinated your top with the seat moquette 😄Congrats for braving the early start, rather you than me!

We must pay a visit, thanks again for another good one. Ps my (Matt) favourite TOC is GWR 😀
Wayfinding on the handrails huh. I don't think I've seen that before.
It’s nice to see Green Park open at last, I think it is my nearest station. I used to do my lockdown bike ride round the road loop, and there are regular duathlons there too
Excellent, makes me look forward to my very early start for Thanet Parkway!
Very impressed by how quickly you got this video posted So typical of Great Western Railway to pull a Northern with the second train of the day
Jen you are just so legitimately cool, and I love your videos. Nerding out over transport in Britain is my new favourite hobby 🥳
Great video Jen! I visited the station later in the day and there were a few more people and no more goody bags left!
Was that Geoff's friend Hugo (off the buses videos) on the platform when you left.

Great work getting this up. Looks quite nice for a new station, a bit more than bare minimum. I think it was a stress ball in the goody bag
5:50am!? OMG! Yall are dedicated! So early! But a new station definitely worth it, it seems at least! And you got a cool bag of goodies 🎉🎉🎉

Hi Jen, (& co'), Splendid job of Reading Green Park video, always good to see a new station come on line after completion. Thankyou for your early morning dedication to keeping the rest of us up to speed. Take care, Jon B.
01:28 hey that's my line!
It’s a stress ball Jen, possibly for use on other TOCs 😂
Nice one Jen! 4:42, that's a Stress Ball; supposedly squeezing it helps you to reduce stress
I was Waiting for that Video
Nice video Jen you've went to costa was Geoff Marshall and Simon there what is your next video Jen and Hello Internet
SWAG!!! Ahhh the station pin is mighty sweet . One can usually find use for the stress ball, even if it is just to give to the cats
The font on the station signs was a serifed one Is that a GWR thing?

What, Geoff Marshall wasn't there?!?! Shocked, I'm shocked I tell you! Umm one request though, Since the UK doesn't seem to have an equivalent to the ADA (or does it, it would be good if it did) I think it would be nice if, when doing a station evaluation reviewers would note if the station is accessible for handicapped individuals. Level boarding, lifts for connection to the pedestrian crossover, Instructions in braille, verbal arrival , departure, station public broadcast, etc. Also you noted no litter bins outside the station but am I safe to presume there were some inside the station? Also does the station have publicly available restrooms (or WC's as I believe you Brits refer to them). Station amenities are nice to know. I may never get to see or visit the station but I am sure that many of your viewers are your fellow country-persons and they would surely be interested. And who knows I may yet talk myself into boarding one of those flying sardine cans they laughingly call airplanes and travel to distant shores, bouts of temporary insanity can occur in anyone.
i love the GWR sphere they gave you in the goody bag
1:30 Bryn being his smug self all prepared for anything. Might I also add, It looks like the type of station that will look really old really quickly
Thank you for content
