Riding The Cherokee Trail western movie aka Ridin The Cherokee Trail released and uploaded from the archives of the www.westernsontheweb.com film collection. From 1941 and starring Tex Ritter, Slim Andrews and Betty Miles. This action packed western musical has lots of great adventure and songs from Tex, Slim and The Tennessee Ramblers. Rangers Tex and Slim are on there way to taking a vacation they stop to visit with another group of Texas Rangers. Tex finds out Craven and his outlaw gang are taking refuge in no mans land, The Cherokee Strip where it's out of jurisdiction for the law to apprehend the varmints. So the lawmen devise a plan to trick the villains into entering Texas so they can be legally be arrested by the authorities. What happened to the guy that was shot and then fell off the back of the buckboard ? Did they go back to see if he was still alive or did they just leave him laying there like a bit of roadkill ?
