yet these trains are pretty rare in europe if available at all. I've traveled all over the continent and never seen these locomotives with an engine in the front. in europe they're usually Alstom or stadler which are EMU units and most of the railways in europe are electrified which allow for a quiet and fast ride. the US only has the north east corridor electrified.

Hey Tony. I really enjoyed the vid. I must reveal that my buddy and I rode the Brightline from Miami to WPB the very first week it went live to the public. It's probably unbelievable that the ticket price was just $10 for the opening weekend. Inside the Downtown Miami complex, my first feeling was like "I'm I at the Airport or what?" We did not do premium level, but with the layout, the comfort, the views (without wraps), the newness, and the cleanliness of the passenger spaces, the experience was still amazing. They're both considered HSR lines by international standards. Brightline doesn't even come remotely close to that. About 50% of the Brightline route is at 80 mph, about 20% is at 110 mph (with interruptions), and less than 8% is at 125 mph, but for some reason single-tracked. Amtrak has several routes that stay above 110 mph for more than 40% of their routes - the Wolverine, the Lincoln Service, and the several routes that run on the NEC. That’s not fast. You have Chinese Japan and other countries that have trains that travel over two and 300 miles an hour not for small section either for the entire duration of the ride. This train Brightline is not high speed

14:34 Why should they provide free alcohol for premium passengers? The difference in price from Smart Class isn't all that much (and it is not all that expensive). This is NOT the same as a business class lounge in airports. Plus, you get free drinks during the trip. Give me a break.

@@mikeymutual5489 from what I’ve heard from another viewer, they used to provide free alcohol in the Premium lounge. If they offer it on the train, then why not in the lounge? After all, you only have access for an hour prior to departure anyway. The most someone might have is 1-2 glasses of wine or beer with their food. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Thanks for watching! ✊🏾

The slowest train in existence only in america can this be touted as “ High speed”. The train is def more style than substance. Bullet trains “high speed” trains def go more than 125 and longer than a few hundred miles. Absolutely inefficient and still slower than driving the damn turnpike..😅 absolutely hysterical. Travel outside the USA and youll understand how laughable this waste of my tax dollars actually is

This country sucks when it comes to our rail systems. Neglect and political greed and red tape is the problem. There is no excuse for this to materialize as slow as it has. Junk everything in New Jersey, and the northeast corridor is absolutely pathetic. Props to Florida the US should have been first with this model. 👏🏾
