Riding Over 40 HOURS on a Train [TIPS + TRICKS] (Amtrak Coach Seat)
In this video I ride Amtrak in coach for 3 days and 2 nights. Here is how I slept, what I did, what I saw, and how this 40+ hour train trip prevented me from wanting to do it again.
Getting back into editing and posting! Thanks for watching. I hope you enjoyed! Hoping to be more active on this channel, now. Livestreaming on twitch starting back up, as well!!

Yeah I can't ride coach either, like if I get 2 hours of sleep I'm lucky.
Very nice. I'm a rail enthusiast and I really enjoy Amtrak, even though it's a slow way to travel. But I think 40 hours would be too long for me. I have yet to experience any Amtrak travel outside the east coast. Happy you're back to making videos

Yoooooo !!! Always great to see comments from you, of course :) Nice!! What Amtrak rides have you done before??? It was a really cool experience. I've heard the Denver to San Francisco stretch is actually really quite incredible. I am ALSO happy I'm back to videos and streaming on twitch. It feels really good to be creative. Thanks for making time to watch the vid and comment even tho ur crazy busy :D I super super appreciate it, as always :)

@@FunkadelicPeach Only the Vermonter to northern Vermont (beautiful but very slow) and the northeast corridor (Washington DC to Boston). For a year the Vermonter was replaced by a bus north of Springfield, MA and that wasn't as fun of a journey. I hope to be able to watch your streams again too

Bobby!!! Thanks for watching :)) I hope you really enjoyed the video. And yes! Traveling by train is definitely a unique experience. Thanks again for the comment and support.
I enjoy the train
Around the holidays, it might be easier to take the train one way, then fly back. Cheaper, too. Wipes and spray sanitizer a must in coach.

Good suggestions for sure!!! Thanks for watching my video :) I really really appreciate it!
So you think that if you were't traveling alone it would have been easier? Just curious, cause I would be dong that too.

I think traveling alone made it easier actually. If I was with someone else, I would’ve been worried more about our collective needs rather than just my own.
I love train travel but after 1000 miles I'll prefer to fly
I've watched Dillon's travel reports video on this

Last year me and my daughter left Everett to go to Portland Maine we took Amtrak cuz it was cheaper we had coach so I brought my sheets my blanket my two pillows my snack play carry-on bag my change of clothes and all the stuff I need I got my gal on flippers went to bed got up went down to the bathroom that's that's got a seating area got cleaned up went and got my coffee my juice add cereal on me already spam a tuna fish bread stuff to drink I took the Empire Builder down to Chicago 4 hour wait in Chicago 20 hours from Chicago to New York a 12-hour layover in New York and then 4 hours to Portland Maine it took me 76 hours on Amtrak and the cafeteria car I got my coffee and milk brought my own cereal but the dining car they had opened for Coach passenger breakfast was $20 lunch was 25.00 and dinner was 37 to $40 three course meal that was a beautiful trip what I learned from that is not over pack a bunch of food cuz I over packed everything I had fun can you can walk on the train you go to the sightseeing car go down to the cafeteria take breaks when they stopped at the train the only thing I did not like is the long layover in New York I wanted the cheeseburger so I went out and round the corner and found a good cheeseburger place and I'm thinking about doing it again I just don't like to travel by myself because if you go coach cuz it's cheaper I don't want some stranger sitting beside me that I don't know I also brought a stanchion cord plugged it in and put it around underneath my seat behind in front of my seat and plugged in my DVD player my cell phone and I I brought DVD to watch you do not have internet turn on your phone movies if you download it onto your phone but it was a great time I'm sorry this gentleman didn't care for it too much but it's a beautiful way to see the sights and things that you haven't seen before
