Riding Japan's First Class Sightseeing Train | SHIMAKAZE Mie to Kyoto 🚈

I explored the popular tourist spots in Mie Prefecture, the Ise Grand Shrine and Okage Yokocho. I then took the popular tourist train "Shimakaze" from Ise-shi Station to Kyoto Station, sitting in the premium seats. The train also had a dining car, making the journey very comfortable. Please enjoy the video.

Hey, you’re in my backyard! I see Shimakaze pass by my place nearly every day… but unfortunately I still haven’t ridden it. As for Ise Jingu and “Okageyoko-cho”, I’m a regular visitor. Anyone who is planning on visiting there, they have a really excellent local brewery called Ise Kadoya. You can sit on a patio overlooking the river while you enjoy a beer!

Ise is a beautiful area. Did you have oysters with the beer? That’s a popular combination. Or green tea with “Akafuku” mochi. There are many other good foods there as well!

I think it's really cool that the seats on the train can turn around so groups can chat during the journey. Also trying Matsusaka beef is on my bucket list so I'd definitely try one of those items on the menu.

I've seen too many movies and played too many games to not see all of those windows as a hazard, lol. Luckily I get over that fairly quickly and am able to enjoy the beauty it provides. It's much better than a wall with a landscape painting hanging from it, lol.

I can never get over how cheap the food is. In the United States a seafood dish like that on a train would run you $55 U.S. In Japan? $12. Unbelievable. 😍

Absolutely stunning train, stunning views; I even got to see the person's bare feet behind you 🤢 If you use the men's only washroom, are you on display for anyone to see who walks by? It seemed odd to me 😂 See you next video! I'm glad that the few foreign KZreadrs haven't ruined it for you and you're able to film on the beautiful Shimakaze; I hope that I get to experience it like planned, but right now I've become suddenly sick with a lupus flare-up that I haven't had since 1997. I hope I'll be in good health next Christmas. My Son has to book our reservations and flights soon. 🤞🏼
