Riding 450 miles across Portugal in 3 days with Laurens ten Dam and Ted King on a Pinarello Dogma

Спорт

Portugal's N2 runs the length of the country, 738 kilometers from the northern point in Chaves to the ocean at Faro. It's a beautiful road that traverses wine country, farmlands and quaint villages. The luxury cycling trip outfit inGamba invited me to join a special version of their N2 adventure with Laurens ten Dam and Ted King, which covered the distance in three days instead of the normal six.
The trip was all time, thanks to the absurdly high level of service by the WorldTour team of soigneurs, mechanics and ride leaders.
I test rode a Pinarello Dogma with SRAM Red and Zipp 303S wheels.
I brought and used an old Specialized Power Elaston saddle. They don't sell it anymore, but the Power Mirror is the latest version it: tinyurl.com/y7x8btv6

Iam in hospital with a broken hip (mountainbike crash) and watching this. I love Portugal and the Pinarello is so beautifull. Gives me motivation to be back soon on my bikes. Greetings from Germany

Ben ... I did not see a Pastel de Nata or SuperBock in the entire video! I can imagine editing this one was tough considering all the share-worthy video. The week before your trip .... a friend and I did a 7 day trip in a huge loop (1000km) from Porto and rode some of the N2, notably the curvy vineyard road you featured. I have almost the same video shot. The roads, history, towns, people, food, drink, views, weather, etc. were just excellent. Truly a place to Enjoy the Ride.
