Ridiculously Steep Hills - Jimna State Forest to Conondale - Location Scout -

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

So I made it from Jimna State Forest to Conondale National Park, A warning to any locals there are some serious hills so I’d only attempt this in the dry and preferably with a buddy.

Great Ride. I ordered my RE Himalayan 104 days ago and I'm still waiting for its arrival. I'll be hitting the trails here in Montana (USA) after the snow melts. I would love the opportunity to film and share myself using your puncture kit someday. Thanks for the great videos.

Enjoyed the video Shane. I live in Brisbane and have my Himalayan on order - supposed to arrive in January some time. I have ridden the Kilcoy-Murgon Road to Jimna on my road bike - nice area. Once the RE is in my sweaty hands I'll be checking out off-road spots in that area. I have a puncture repair kit for my (tubeless-tyred) road bike but nothing for the Himmy. With my luck I'll be needing a kit and if you were kind enough to select me as the lucky recipient I would be uber chuffed and grateful. Stay safe.

@@NowhereFastADV Hi Shane. I'm likely the only Ken H so I guess I won the tyre repair kit. That's great and I thank you very much for that! As mentioned before, once my bike arrives I'll let you know and we can do some rides together - woo hoo!

I use OsmAnd and load custom tracks i create with a gpx file maker.. its not super accurate but it stops me going in the wrong direction when you get confused in the forests.. and good luck haha

What did you edit this one in? How did you track the text in 1:55 ? After Effects? It looks good, I like it.

Haha I forgot what it was like to put effort into the edit. That was after effects. Later videos I switched to resolve and did similar but it was a lot of effort for a 10 second effect.

Thanks mate. Was a fair while ago but from memory I followed the track out of peach trees campsite and around the back. It might have washed away in the floods last year but pullen road from kennilworth is where it should end
