Hi, good video. More details about your specific workflow in Photoshop (or whatever you use) would be helpful. It is likely worthy of a stand-alone video. There are a lot of choices and steps from the RAW scanned file to the final file you send the printer, and those specific details would be very popular and desired by many.

Great video, Tony. My film photography is mostly medium format 6x6, 6x9, 6x17...pretty amazing what the 8x10 big boy and drum scanning can deliver. Really impressive.

Thank you! I appreciate your support! I’ve drum scanned medium format as well and it’s amazing the detail in the smaller formats too; especially from sharp lenses. Thanks for watching!😎

Hi Tony, you mention the slip on Lee filter holder for the Nikkor 150 lens. I looked on the Lee website and unable to identify the holder. Any chance you can share a link to the holder so I can be sure of the correct one? Thank you. Please keep making this videos. Your teaching style is fun to watch, clear, and very helpful.

it sounds like you could haved used calumet panel relectors that break down after use. painting with light techique. it realy sounds like you need to spend a week camping in the are to get the right natural lighting with 2 mules. i mean 2 persons to give you a hand hauling equipment. buddies looking out for a better way. of getting in and out of the area safely

Beautiful! I just wouldn't chose the Adobe RGB profile for negative scans. I tested this thoroughly and Adobe RGB is not good for film inversion. Neither is ProPhoto RGB because the primaries are not equidistant and not in equilibrium. One better ICC profile is already the Image P3, but the one working best for me is Arri Wide Gamut, though, you can do as good with ACES Ap1. I invert my negatives in RawTherapee. it's by far the best inverting software and on top of that, it's free.

@@tonysantophotography you're welcome! Awesome content, really chill and enjoyable! I would love to try inverting one of your scans with my process! If there would be any way to try this out, let me know!
