    Well you see since Ohio doesn't exist in the meme world it translates roughly to "give me your nothing" or like "I want nothing from the likes of you" sort of vibe. Source: I made it up just now.

    as a 22 year old who works at an elementary school, i promise this is all of their slang. none of it is ever used in the 'correct' context, it's just hysterical to them to use these words anywhere in any sentence, even when i ask if they know what it actually means, they can't tell me.

    Ironically, the reason people love Kai/"just chatting" streamers is the same reason a lot of people love GMM. It feels like a couple friends just having fun. Kai is just browsing the internet, watching funny videos, talking about whatever teenagers talk about now and everyone in chat participates as a community.

    I'm 28 and I've never even been to the twitch website lol, I've never understood how watching a stream is more entertaining than a pre made video. Listening to people thank their viewers for donations constantly gets so grating. Sometimes I'll catch livestreams on KZread and it's fun to use chat a bit, but that gets old in like 10 minutes.

    I went on vacations with my 65 year old dad and showed him GMM while we were chilling in the hotel at night after an entire day of walking, and he loved it. First episode I showed him was the "guessing instructions in another language" and he kept laughing and referencing Rhett saying "DONDA" while trying to guess that it meant "turkey".

    There hasn't been a gen Z yet. We are still on gen Y. We're only halfway to gen Z from the start of Y. It's been about 490 years since Europeans stole the Americas. That's 23 generations, as a single generation is 20 years. That puts us around the middle of gen Y right now.

That and doctors threw the diagnose around as soon as it popped up as a trend again about 10 years ago. So pretty much everyone has adhd today. But i doubt most people who have the diagnose actually do have adhd. And there for they don't understand what having adhd is like. They would'n know about hyper focus.
