    would it though? you do realize the cabinet opens up, and the width when open is tight for the dragon. thats one big bar! not sure B needs 2 subs in that room. Sony is going to drop new products tomorrow, see what they release. Maybe some cool new sound products to go along with the 4,000 nit TV's

    Think about the Sony ES receivers - their wireless rear speaker offerings are super handy. Have the 7000ES in a living room 7.2.4 setup with the 77” A95L using Acoustic Center Sync 👌

    Nice little home theatre so far. Picture looks great and what counts is that both you and the wife are happy with it. Now for the sound system setup in regarding the center channel you could mount it underneath the projector screen since the cabinet is away from the wall and that should be able to work then your front left right speakers should be good. You can do also for your surround sound speakers they could be wireless and hook them up to the AVR via with a bluetooth module but it all depends on which AVR you do and your budget is the big one. other than that cool setup buddy and enjoy!!!

    I bought the VAVA CHROMA few years back an absolutely loving it and not going to buy any TVs anymore maybe only for bedrooms, I know you dont get OLED quality. But the picture is great and is giant You can't get better than that in this in this price range

    Although me and my wife will be replacing out 77inch C2 with the new 83inch G4 for our bedroom. We have been between the AWOL 3000 with the self rising screen and 3500, it would be interesting to see if the 500-Lumens more would be much of a difference for the extra cost.

    Look at Martin logan motion slm3 for your center and motion slm for you left and right. They are on wall speakers that will not block the projector. Shane Lee reviewed these and loved them.

    I have a VAVA 4k with 1800ansi lumens on a Hisense F100W hard screen ALR fresnal that came preassembled as it is a physical screen and not stretched and it looks awsome. I did notice @1:33, the mech for the hanger with the hanging poles for adjustment was a Hisense one ( mine has them ). Was the screen a Hisense or possibly built by them?

    I have the same issue for my living room as well. The room is open to the kitchen and an L shape so we can't se the surround speakers in the right positions. So the three front speakers are good and one surround is good. The other surrond is next to the left front speaker so we don't get the optimal surround effect.

    We're currently looking at the AWOL 3000 Pro/Auto-Rising 120 inch screen as its about the same if not a little cheaper than any 83-85 inch OLED/Mini LED TV right now. Holding out for July 4th sales though. I'd be interested Brian in maybe seeing how a system like the SAMSUNG S990C/D Soundbar system would sound, to give some perspective on whether or not you would actually need anything more first.

    I think JVC will still beat this in terms of contrast in dark scenes. But the perceived difference will not be that big thanks to the gray screen which improves black level.

    You should check Zack’s setup (from Dreamedia) who has a cabinet for his UST. He has a Focal front stage, and his center channel is right under the screen.

    Nice video guys. That is an impressive set up. You should be able to set a100" TV's on the new cabinet for testing. 😁 Guys as far as a home theater well that's really up to you. Maybe one of you won't like speakers everywhere. I personally don't care what it looks like as long as the sound is awesome 😎

    There is no lamp. It is a 3 rgb laser/led setup with an expected life of 25k hours @4 hours a day. I have a VAVA 4k with 1800ansi lumens on a Hisense ALR screen ( fresnal ) and it looks awsome.

    I use and love Nordost-cables and if you use their "flat cables" you can easily hide them unnoticeable under the carpet.

    Dont try to install a center channel, if anything do get 2 front tower speakers and use a virtual center, like your Sonys are doing already. Honestly just keep the A9. Y9ur going to get slightly better sound, for so much more money and work and time. Moreover, the way you wpswitch displays the A9 makes the smartest option as they cen be placed anywhere

    I hear you, it's funny I'm going through the complete opposite of what you are doing. I just hooked up the A9 today, don't have the the sub yet. It sounds very good, and it's very easy to use. The Atmos effects are better, but it's not as good as a dedicated system, need to try with the sub. You can do an inwall center that's probably your only option.

    It must be nice getting all this stuff for nothing, then being able to probably buy it after a pre-determined time for next to nothing. It's all great especially with the informative video's you do but the dilemma is most of this stuff is for the rich. Not the end of the world but some middle of the line equipment would be nice to see. I just haven't seen all your video's. Great vids what I've seen so far.

    UNlikely there is ANY "real wood" in that cabinet. The more weight there is, the more likely it is veneer over particle board. ...and when you switch it on... the neighbor's lights dim. How about the heating of your room electrically when viewing? How does picture quality compare to my XR-85X95J?

    Go 5.1.4 or bigger for atmos as dolby suggests or 7.1.4 minimum for... Oh wait, people only stream now, so dtsx is dead too without a Sony tv with Bravia core. (I'm still waiting Disney) RIP to physical media. Sony is gonna be a life savoe in that space. You are probably on the right track with what you have, but you are missing your dialog speaker. A Sony avr possibly, because they are king of the living room and not home theater. When you put the avr on one side and the pecever on the other sony is the only one that can help!

    Do not try the 132”, you don’t want to lose 18”s of screen real estate. B keep your Sony HT A9. I have a Kef 5.1.4 system with receiver and it does great, the A9 is such a simple and elegant solution.

    Are these really good enough to watch on a sunny day? For sound, since your room is so clean and minimalistic, I'd do the best in-wall speakers you can afford. SVS makes a ligit in-wall sub. And you are B the installer... don't be lazy, show us how to run wires for surrounds in a room like that. NOT UNDER THE CARPET!

    We don't own this house and it is literally the worst possible set up to run wires. 20+ ft vaulted ceilings and open on both sides of the room. Tell me what you would do? 😏 if I owned it, I would consider taking the crap floor up and going under boards but even that is a huge project. Upon moving in to our forever home, we will make plenty of content

    The internal speakers have the option to turn into center channel and comes with an 8 channel hdmi plug with eARC to bring out the Dolby Atmos and 4 speakers and a subwoofer. Stupid.
