The screen is so huge with no glare that it makes it look like a green screen. So cool.

B. You take go big or go home to another level. From one sports fan to another that 75 inch multi view……is SWEET
Q"What size of tv do you want me to to get?" A:"Yes
Y’all need a dragon sound system
I see thumbnail, I click. So exciting!
Regarding the center channel dilemma, I saw AWOL had a solution at this year's CES where the projector acts as a center channel.
Nakamichi Dragon. The main unit would fit perfectly atop that cabinet.
@michael-4k4000

would it though? you do realize the cabinet opens up, and the width when open is tight for the dragon. thats one big bar! not sure B needs 2 subs in that room. Sony is going to drop new products tomorrow, see what they release. Maybe some cool new sound products to go along with the 4,000 nit TV's
Nice review keep up the good work B the Installer
Very nice projector. Good Job.
wow that is a monster!
Wow, great tech, so well designed ... definitely going to read more on these three. Looks like a great upgrade to my 77" OLED.

Nice!!! You should do a collab with Audio Advice to upgrade your sound system. Win, win.
Think about the Sony ES receivers - their wireless rear speaker offerings are super handy. Have the 7000ES in a living room 7.2.4 setup with the 77” A95L using Acoustic Center Sync 👌
Hello, great video. You convinced me to buy this set up now. How high does the top of the screen sit from the floor, I may have to buy a lower table for it, thanks
Nice little home theatre so far. Picture looks great and what counts is that both you and the wife are happy with it. Now for the sound system setup in regarding the center channel you could mount it underneath the projector screen since the cabinet is away from the wall and that should be able to work then your front left right speakers should be good. You can do also for your surround sound speakers they could be wireless and hook them up to the AVR via with a bluetooth module but it all depends on which AVR you do and your budget is the big one. other than that cool setup buddy and enjoy!!!
Nakamichi dragon is a great home theater system it would be nice a review.
Looks insane .. ! How does the Centre speaker placement go and have you tried 3d yet or no blu ray setup ??
I bought the VAVA CHROMA few years back an absolutely loving it and not going to buy any TVs anymore maybe only for bedrooms, I know you dont get OLED quality. But the picture is great and is giant You can't get better than that in this in this price range
You should look at the Focal's in wall 1000s which are wall mountable for your set up.
Although me and my wife will be replacing out 77inch C2 with the new 83inch G4 for our bedroom. We have been between the AWOL 3000 with the self rising screen and 3500, it would be interesting to see if the 500-Lumens more would be much of a difference for the extra cost.
Dope setup and I think the martin logan motion series, arendal or the new SVS speakers would fit you guy's decor or the goldenear supersat series
How it compares to the XGIMI Horizon Ultra? can it be use in back yard too thanks
First thought was, were do I put my center channel. Currently looking for options for my HT. Have 100" front projection and considering 120" UST or maybe 100" LED TV. Pros and cons to both.
Look at Martin logan motion slm3 for your center and motion slm for you left and right. They are on wall speakers that will not block the projector. Shane Lee reviewed these and loved them.
When you split the screen to 4 parts of 75inc are you able to watch 4 different things and if so how is that possible. What are you using to split the signal??
You both look so tiny sat down next to it 😂 What a beast.
I have a VAVA 4k with 1800ansi lumens on a Hisense F100W hard screen ALR fresnal that came preassembled as it is a physical screen and not stretched and it looks awsome. I did notice @1:33, the mech for the hanger with the hanging poles for adjustment was a Hisense one ( mine has them ). Was the screen a Hisense or possibly built by them?
Very beautiful AWOL laser projector 150 inch screen, what about a 200 inch screen? It is expensive???
What is your screen height from floor? Looking for a new basement set up and I've got 9ft ceilings down there...
I have the same issue for my living room as well. The room is open to the kitchen and an L shape so we can't se the surround speakers in the right positions. So the three front speakers are good and one surround is good. The other surrond is next to the left front speaker so we don't get the optimal surround effect.
I am using the 120 inch floor rising screen + awol 3000 pro, pretty good enough
Look at Klipsch RP speakers and SVS sub to pair with that beautiful screen!
Can a SONOS Arc soundbar be placed towards the rear on top of the cabinet?
We're currently looking at the AWOL 3000 Pro/Auto-Rising 120 inch screen as its about the same if not a little cheaper than any 83-85 inch OLED/Mini LED TV right now. Holding out for July 4th sales though. I'd be interested Brian in maybe seeing how a system like the SAMSUNG S990C/D Soundbar system would sound, to give some perspective on whether or not you would actually need anything more first.
The cabinet comes with the projector plus the wall scream? all in one? for over Five thousand dollars? I need your help please reply thank you.
I love the 150 inch screen. How do I buy one of those
Great video. So are short throws objectively better than the classic JVC projectors (e.g nx-7, nz-8 etc)?
@ekklesiast
Ай бұрын
I think JVC will still beat this in terms of contrast in dark scenes. But the perceived difference will not be that big thanks to the gray screen which improves black level.
You should check Zack’s setup (from Dreamedia) who has a cabinet for his UST. He has a Focal front stage, and his center channel is right under the screen.
Nice video guys. That is an impressive set up. You should be able to set a100" TV's on the new cabinet for testing. 😁 Guys as far as a home theater well that's really up to you. Maybe one of you won't like speakers everywhere. I personally don't care what it looks like as long as the sound is awesome 😎
Enter the Dragon and you have yourselves an immersive setup capable of giving heart attacks
Dolby Atmos sound system 🔥🔥

I use and love Nordost-cables and if you use their "flat cables" you can easily hide them unnoticeable under the carpet.
Dont try to install a center channel, if anything do get 2 front tower speakers and use a virtual center, like your Sonys are doing already. Honestly just keep the A9. Y9ur going to get slightly better sound, for so much more money and work and time. Moreover, the way you wpswitch displays the A9 makes the smartest option as they cen be placed anywhere

I hear you, it's funny I'm going through the complete opposite of what you are doing. I just hooked up the A9 today, don't have the the sub yet. It sounds very good, and it's very easy to use. The Atmos effects are better, but it's not as good as a dedicated system, need to try with the sub. You can do an inwall center that's probably your only option.
Get some Sonance in wall center channel
So a projector. Now how much for the bulb when it goes to hell?

Better sound will be. M&k sound S150 5.1.4 with x8 or x12 sub or 2sub and Yamaha mrx A8A 8k.
Nakamichi dragon ( this is the way )full wireless 11.2
For the audio you should sell me the HT-A9 setup, then……
On wall Center channel
It must be nice getting all this stuff for nothing, then being able to probably buy it after a pre-determined time for next to nothing. It's all great especially with the informative video's you do but the dilemma is most of this stuff is for the rich. Not the end of the world but some middle of the line equipment would be nice to see. I just haven't seen all your video's. Great vids what I've seen so far.
I love the size but I don't like seams. Would drive me crazy knowing it's there even if most of the time you don't notice it. I would have to get the 132 inch size.
@cbeattie778
2 ай бұрын
The 132 inch will be great
UNlikely there is ANY "real wood" in that cabinet. The more weight there is, the more likely it is veneer over particle board. ...and when you switch it on... the neighbor's lights dim. How about the heating of your room electrically when viewing? How does picture quality compare to my XR-85X95J?
Have you considered one of these instead of separates? It's what I'll probably get as my next 'sound system'. Nakamichi Dragon 11.4.6 Surround System kzread.info/dash/bejne/e2Vl27dsppTZoZM.html
B, honestly, what about the DLP developing dead pixels starting at about 6k-8k hours and the noise? I thought 98 was pretty sweet. What you honest opinion B?
Go 5.1.4 or bigger for atmos as dolby suggests or 7.1.4 minimum for... Oh wait, people only stream now, so dtsx is dead too without a Sony tv with Bravia core. (I'm still waiting Disney) RIP to physical media. Sony is gonna be a life savoe in that space. You are probably on the right track with what you have, but you are missing your dialog speaker. A Sony avr possibly, because they are king of the living room and not home theater. When you put the avr on one side and the pecever on the other sony is the only one that can help!
I wish I didn't see this video!
Do not try the 132”, you don’t want to lose 18”s of screen real estate. B keep your Sony HT A9. I have a Kef 5.1.4 system with receiver and it does great, the A9 is such a simple and elegant solution.
You can tell Jen doesn't a give a shit! She knows KZread pays them bills! LOL!
it's called color gamut, not color gambit (3:20), a gambit is something else.
Test
Get Techno Dad to help you. He set up in his place a great sound system.
There's nothing like an OLED
Are these really good enough to watch on a sunny day? For sound, since your room is so clean and minimalistic, I'd do the best in-wall speakers you can afford. SVS makes a ligit in-wall sub. And you are B the installer... don't be lazy, show us how to run wires for surrounds in a room like that. NOT UNDER THE CARPET!

We don't own this house and it is literally the worst possible set up to run wires. 20+ ft vaulted ceilings and open on both sides of the room. Tell me what you would do? 😏 if I owned it, I would consider taking the crap floor up and going under boards but even that is a huge project. Upon moving in to our forever home, we will make plenty of content
I better have a BIG BOOK SHELF then big tv screen
$3500 USD for the smart cabinet? I'm okay with just using a table. 😢
Yeah look Jen, we are rich, and we can install this for around $15,000. If we wait 15 years, it will come down to an OLED.
