Ridgemonkey Quad Stove Review + Boil test

Спорт

In this video we take a look at the quad stove from Ridgemonkey.
Thanks to Billingham Angling Centre for helping us source the product, if you are local and need any tackle make sure to head over and check out the shop.
Onto what you can expect from the video, we runs through the features and take a closer look at the stove. We also put the stove head to head with BGT's stove and we report back on how much gas is used by the end of the session.
The stove retails at around £70 so it's not cheap but we do have to admit it's a lovely bit of kit.

Fellas. Despite my profile name my name is actually Bobby brown. London boy moved to america to ride racehorses. Now work in the breeding side. I just wanted to say Thankyou. Your videos are great just two fellas that love fishing it’s natural and raw and that’s what makes it what it is. Your videos are my go to . I used to carp fish when I was a kid and it takes me back. Keep doing what your doing. Never give up on something you love. Have a great day and God bless

Grate little viv guys, sometimes in the fishing game there is no need for top name products sometimes the cheaper ones are just as good but we buy the expensive one because that’s what we do… and you should of put the same amount in both 👊

Nice video. Thank you. As a newbie to camping. Can you please tell me what size gas canister you have used with the stove?

  • @liambradley4848

Guys you need to retest using the same gas, im not sure what mix is in the NGT but I know the coleman stuff is a butane propane mix, propane burns hotter than butane so it can make a difference. The water should also be measured to make it fair. Another cracking video though guys, keep up the good work 👍

That’s a really good point tbf, didn’t think about the different types of gas used. We’ll maybe try it again on a future session. Thanks for watching mate

I bought the ridgemonkey stove the small one with the dual stove version after me coleman started leaking fuel I found that after use I couldn't fold the legs maybe due to heat but they were verry stiff had to wait till I got home to spray them with wd40

You simply can’t beat a Coleman stove this time of year! No warming up of gas canisters up ya jumper or waiting 20mins to boil a kettle because the gas is cold and the pressure in the canister has dropped.

Got to be wary of the carp tax lads. Seen EXACTLY the same stoves with carp logo on for twice the price. Always check the camping gear first.

Falling in the trap of carp tax lads! There are far better stoves out there for less than half the price of well overpriced Ridgemonkey gear! All made in China! Your perogative though!
