People forget that the primary function of this is the RFID blocking..... its not just a wallet its a security measure

RFID blocking is not a concern for 99% of people. They advertise that’s it’s blocks it so people will go out and buy it, creating a solution for a problem that doesn’t exist is what it is.

The Ridge is a fancy money clip/cover for cards instead of cash. It has the same functionality. That’s what makes it minimalistic and compact. No more no less.

And it's extremly overpriced for how simple the engineering is. Litteraly just two metal pieces that are held together by a rubber band. Not worth 100-200$. Everytime a product is advertised by tons of youtbers it's trash or overhyped, same with the Raycon earbuds which are mediocre at best.

It's actually useful for cards. There are devices that can get your credit card information just by pointing at your pocket or wallet. The ridge wallet blocks the signal.

They're basically a novelty item, they're not practical whatsoever. It's difficult getting cards out n if u have a scan card for doors be prepared to have to dig the card out everytime. I bought one n sent it right back. Ekster wallets are the way to go 💯

Mmmh kinda disagree. Btw If you're having problems with your key card ridge has a quick card eject accessory that you can get now.

@@poopdeck18 I returned it. I rather use a traditional wallet if I'm going to dig for cards n still be able to use scan cards. I do appreciate the info though. But the value isn't there. U can get the same exact design wallet for 2-3 bucks.

If they made one that actually could hold cash I'd be interested until then these are not worth it

Yeah, they sound cheap. I still havent received mine yet so I couldn’t tell but by the sound of it , idk it doesn’t sound like 124$

It's actually pretty strong and durable asf. Definitely worth trying. And you can always switch to the clip if you're still not sure.

@@nicola_corropoli2266 it isn't, there are other brands (such as Rossm) that are of the same quality and do the job for far less. I've owned Ridge and it just isn't worth it for the price anymore. They don't even try to compete because they have a loyal customer base. When Ridge first started on Kickstarter the prices were reasonable, but now they just don't make sense. They even tried to sue Rossm and lost the case because Rossm was cutting so much into their business.

I only have 1 debit card, 2 IDs and 1 health card. And a $ lol… I only carry credit card if i have emergency. But that? !!!!!!! Its scares me 😱

Yea it’s fine if you only have a few cards to carry. Otherwise you have to fan out all your cards each time you use it to find the one you need. Seems like it’s more of a fancy money clip but for cards instead of cash 💵

Yeah I don’t understand people with 10+ cards unless they own a business or whatever. ID/ debit / credit / Costco/ AAA card (can use the mobile app but I still like the physical card in case or accident) and some cash. Always a little cash on hand.

Not sure I’d like having to take all of my cards out of the wallet to find the one I need ! If they all were dropped at one time while looking for the one then there’s a chance one fell or slid under something at a self checkout or whatever !

U don't have to. U push the cards about half way out and then pinch the bottom of it and it will fan the cards out.

I was sceptical.. rather like it after a few days off use

I guarantee that money's falling out pretty quickly😅
