Ride1Up REVV 1 | Range Test / Hill Test *IS IT WORTH IT?* 🤔🏍️💨

Ойын-сауық

Today we are going to put the ride1Up Revv 1 to the test and see what type of range we get out of it and how it will perform on hills. This test is going to be in level 5 assist with throttle only since this is how most will be riding the bike. If you are interested in the Revv 1 or want to see the full review of this bike, click the link below.

    Great review but I'd like to know what it's like in the mountains of PA.... I'm only 150+ lbs but the roads are made of potholes so it would definitely be the full suspension version. I'd also like to see how far it could tow a bike trailer... That's what I'd mostly be using it for then if I'm by myself I'd be ripping to and from the store for a backpack full of stuff. 😁👍 Edit: You should definitely do a shunt mod and then do another video... It will be so much faster and even better at hills but it might also make the motor heat up more quickly. 🤫😁

    Nice range test..i would get even better range cause i found out 25mph is the sweet spot to get good range.. I'm a older guy so speed is not my thing i rather cruise so ppl could see me on such a beautiful bike 😂

    Thanks for your videos. I'm just shopping for eBikes for myself and my wife. I own and regularly ride a Triumph T100. That might color my assessment. But, I don't see ANY lean. All the turns are slow speed and all the turns are straight. You might benefit form a slow speed motorcycle course. I think you might get a LOT more out of these bikes. I am very worried about range because I live in a hilly area and I weight 250 Lbs. What should I expect for range with the REVV 1?

    This bike does have cruise control. I think it’s P04 and you have to set it to on. When the motor is running hold the + button until the cruise badge appears.

    Anyone...Any suggestions? I need 3 bikes for our family. I have two already, a EUY S4 26ah, and Ridstar 21ah. What should be a third? The EUY was $1450 delivered and Ridstar $1,050. Any suggestions for my third bike? Needs to have same capabilities as other two, and is more for playing around on slightly hilly gravel roads and our level fields. Thanks!

    Well...mine is one the way. Due to the smaller hills you've tested on, I'm not a hundred percent reassured as to whether I made a big mistake. I guess I'll have to be as smart as I can about which roads to take to work. The funny thing is, the biggest hill of all is getting back to the house!

    On the tail of the bike there’s two holes on each side, you can see them if you zoom in on the website, i assume they’re for screwing on an attachment for the back. If you look at the pictures for the center storage cage on the website they used the holes to put a handle on the back

    Mike, another great test! 2 questions to help me make my buying final decision: If you were going to ride this or an X class to work 10 miles each way, some hills, and have to carry laptop, lunch, etc., which would you prefer? The X class has rack options that Rev doesn’t have (yet). I may ride a little off road sometimes also, not sure if one is better in the dirt. I know Ariel makes the Kepler, would that be a better? Appreciate your opinions, I’ll use your link to buy either…

  • @MikeFede

    @MikeFede

    Жыл бұрын

    Thanks 🙏🏽 !! I think if you’re looking to pedal the bike too as a traditional bike then I would say the Kepler for sure. If I had to choose between the xclass or the revv 1 for traveling just throttle only, I think I’d choose the xclass because of the weight difference if I’m going off curbs, jumps or stairs. It’s just a good bike for all that. The revv 1 is ok for off curbs, but it’s a heavy bike and I wouldn’t want to put that stress on it a lot. I think accessories will be out for the revv 1 soon but they both will have a different method of holding bags and such. It’s hard, because I like both for different reasons. At the end of the day I’ll choose Kepler because I can ride it as a traditional bike too and still zip around. I know it’s hard making these purchases lol, so many options. Thanks for asking.

    The revv 1 is an emoped style bike that I wouldn’t compare to something like a commuter bike with pedal assist. E-bikes have such a wide range and I think these style e-bikes just aren’t comfortable to pedal, but serve a purpose for people who need transportation like a motorcycle but without the license.

    Alright guys I finally got my Revv 1 and I can honestly say I kinda want my money back. This bike came with many issues. The bent frame I brushed off as FedEx is kinda crap. The brakes came with no safety plastic and the brakes aren't true so the rubbing is annoying. The fender is a POS from China and is the worse fender I've ever used with crappy screws. The kickstand is really crappy and broke during adjustment. Not quite something you expect for 2.5k These issues kinda just take away the fun of the Revv 1 and makes it just another Chinese bike with looks, I'd buy a Ariel X Class next time Oh yeah and no quick release on the front wheel so you'll be playing "Balance the axel" for a little bit with the washers
