But then I get on the ebike, head home about 10 miles, and all is good again. Except Kroger doesn't let me keep my ebike inside, even though I'm a customer service manager. Enjoy your vids, man...

The bike speed is 15.3mph above that speed and its not street legal. Say your bike does 28mph And add another battery for more speed it's not legal. Its the motor size 250wat is street legal 500wst isn't Street legal above 500wat police can stop you for registration. Look at bike law's it's in black and white

Of the road mode 28 mph +, what does of the the road mean jt means you can't do that speed on the road I'm braking the bike law's mine does over 40mph. It's the same law in USA

🎉 my brother coming out with another one I love this bike almost got enough to get me one.

Received/Built mine up last weekend, have the storage case, rear rack, solar charger (leave it at home), and the handlebar for behind the seat. I use it to run down to the mailbox, to Dollar General, Rite-Aid, or to Karl’s Hardware. One of these days, I’ll venture out around the outskirts of this town. Loving this bike so far.

You could use a tester on the batteries to see how evenly they discharged. Report back. And use the chart to see real % at 1 bar or 2-4 bars etc.

New one up right now

I just added a second battery to my Revv1 too. I didn't want to mount mine backwards and I didn't want to add a riser to make it work because I'm making a leather bag to fit in the leftover space so I can carry my chain there. All i did to solve the problem was redrill holes in the battery base so it fit where I needed it. Both batteries are now mounted in the same direction and it looks better to me. redrilling holes didn't hurt anything, the battery is totally as solid as if I used the original slots. Easy peasy.

The motor is actually 1850 watts on offroad mode. The motor sustained power is only 750w.

So did you have to change the controller? For the double battery

I’m sure you could. Just gotta trace the cable to its disconnect location and see what connection it is and look for a throttle with that same plug

That link to the 24ah battery doesn't have it. Also LG4800 vs Panasonic2700 ? Are the Panasonic2700 cells that much better that they cost more?

Next mod: luggage rack. It's the ONE THING that is conspicuously missing from this bike.

I agree. That is the only thing I wanted that this bike doesn't have. I've been searching for a close enough stock one to modify, but have yet to find anything. I'll be building one soon. Until then , the pup rides in her backpack.

I have dune the dual battery just as you said and I have just road 86 miles according to my phone gps speed app thank's it worked great because the stock odometer sucks it so far far off it's not even close

More storage is better it give a longer running time

Revv 1 sells all the parts to do this so it shouldn't void the warranty if you get the parts from them

They all fit in the center storage cage but they will not slide onto the battery rail. No room for movement unless you bend the cage

I have a question for you about the battery blender, which size did you used, 20A, 30A or 40A, I’m not sure which one I have to buy. Thanks in advance 🙏🏼

@@MrCentralDriver there are a bunch of people talking about the quality of Unit Pack Power battery but on your videos the seems like the brand is pretty good. I picked up the 52volts 21 amp with Panasonic cells, hope all works well, that battery is the more expensive on the list. Thanks again for all the great videos 👊🏼

Same thing basically. More features and top speed. Just not a huge community of parts as it’s very new. Way worth it at 2400

I wonder if I could get another 5mph with my Grizzly with that controller. Top speed is 35 but I'd love to get an extra 5mph.

What's the ETA on the 72v kit? Ive been waiting on buying any bikes until I saw someone mod a rev 1. It's such a good looking bike but just a tad too weak stock. Pumped to see that vid! Just curious too, thoughts on Onyx CTY2 vs modded Rev1 would be extra nice once you get it going!

I'm just thinking: A Honda Metropolitan 49.5cc scooter sells for $2650 now and will go 38 mph for 100 miles. Proper DOT lights, brakes and turn signals for that money. Locking storage under the seat. 105 mpg. Insurance is cheap. These are now going for what, $2400? Then add another $500 battery to get maybe 60 miles? A new $500 battery every year or two. The gears in the hub motor aren't going to last forever either. I'm not knockin' the Revv1, just saying that these eMopeds are now effectively costing more than scooters, so if your goal is not to pedal and go 35 mph, a scooter might be a better option.

Where I live, you can’t ride eMoped’s on bike paths and parks. E-bikes are treated like a bike which probably why Revv1 placed pedals on this E-bike so it can be treated as an E-bike. All bike paths and parks are fair game!

You don’t need to pedal on this bike at all to achieve 36-37mph. And yes your looking at 50-55miles with 2 batteries full throttle and 100+ if you go slower and cruise doing 10-15mph or so. No insurance or registration and no yearly tags. We can ride on trails and bike paths and most likely like my situation you can’t bring a gas vehicle into a grocery store for sanitary reasons, I can bring my bike in the store and charge my bike while working. And never spend money on gas. Half the time we find places to charge while riding around. It’s like 1cent for each mile. Can’t beat it. And being silent and in the bike lane. Cops in my area do not care about you.

get a full face helmet thats DOT approved because you never no what will happen. I use a AGV K6 because its light.

I just got a Sena Outrush R modular helmet that's both DOT & ECE approved with Bluetooth 5.0, 4-way Intercom, and only 3.7 pounds for $269. I'm also wearing a motorcycle jacket and pants with CE armor. Ride safe!

I believe it a 28 amp but off road mode is 35 amp.

Im must have the version 2.0. Different tail light and the torque is 90 and not 95.

Cool bike! I saw someone remove the pedals on their Ariel Rider X Class and replaced it with just foot pegs and it works lol! You plan on doing something like that since you don't plan on pedalling?

Measure the distance between your rear drop outs (either 150mm, 170mm or 190mm probably) and that's your axle measurement. Most sellers can get you the exact size you need.

i think its 170-175mm. for sure bigger than 155mm but not super73 190mm big

Thats one of the cons of reviewing ebikes. I too have had a few issues with bikes before and despite them being very simple and easy to describe, you always get told "can you send a video of it?". Its irritating as it makes no sense to send a video when you already described exactly whats happening. What will a video further provide? I dont have time to be filming and sending videos all day..get outta here with that..lol.

Let me start by saying that I very much like this bike. Small problems can be very frustrating and detract from overall enjoyment. 1. Chain keeps coming off the tensioner sprocket. Told that the chain was too short from factory and sending me a longer one. Seems unlikely that this will fix the misalignment. 2. Throttle has too much play before engaging motor. Support said this was normal and can not be adjusted. 3. Owners Manual does not include suspension adjustment info. Also incorrect procedure to turn on lights. 4. Speed indicated on the display shows 5 mph fast. 5. When discussing these issues with support, they repeatedly asked for more and more photos and videos to be sent them. No offer to have someone locally assist with the repair and or adjustments. Also no return phone call. This is not a cheap bike and customer service should be much better.

That bike is aligal its clssed as a moped you gave to get it registered. If a police see you now they would stop and ask for what ever they ask you should have number plate on indercators horn. The law hasn't changed

Cops here don’t care unless your being wreckless and messing up traffic. We’re actually helping traffic by taking one car off the road. FYI nobody rides bikes in my area. Maybe 1% of people here

Google law it states any bike that goes a certain speed you have to register it crisscrosing wires he has dirt bike look a like he's always watch out for the police he always says he would give them a run for there money. In the UK you would be stopped if any traffic cop seen you look at bike laws. My bike dies 49mph it's looks like a mountain bike but it's different from other bikes when I'm out I'm always looking in my mirrors I've got 200wat 45amp controller 60v20 amps I said it does 49moh if I pushed it hard it would do more than that I'm braking the law mine is classed as a moped look again ar bike was you will see

​@@colinwhite144 It doesn't come with a VIN number and a title, because it's technically an e-bike. In Texas, I would need to fill out a Bonded Title Application and get approved to get a title. After that I would need to fill out Form VTR-68-A, get it inspected, show a bill of receipt, and get approved to get a VIN number. Finally I can register it as a moped, but that is if I get approved for the title and vin number.

Can the same things be done on the super 73 using the same parts?

the battery blender yes but make sure you get the correct voltage battery for your super73. the AH doesn't matter. the bigger the better if it fits
