Ride BDR A 10-Year Retrospective (Full Film)

About The Film:
Celebrating 10 years, 10 routes and 10,000 miles of adventure! Telling the decade-long story of the BDR organization, this 75-minute film features never before seen footage and bloopers from the BDR vault, interviews with founders, and a behind the scenes look at how BDR came to be and where it's going. From its ragtag beginnings to becoming one of the most influential names in adventure motorcycling, this is one ride you won't want to miss!
Support BDR: ridebdr.com/become-a-supporter/
About BDR:
Backcountry Discovery Routes® (BDR®) is a non-profit organization that creates off-highway routes for dual-sport and adventure motorcycle travel. We have introduced a new route with free GPS tracks for the community every year since 2010.
Routes can be downloaded from our website at www.ridebdr.com
Our work includes rider education, safety campaigns and promoting responsible travel for motorcyclists traveling in the backcountry.
Our volunteer-powered organization works with agencies and land managers to keep trails and remote roads open for motorcycling.
Each route generates new tourism that delivers sustainable economic relief to less-advantaged rural communities. This creates local stakeholders who will help fight to keep access for dual-sport and adventure motorcycles in these incredible backcountry areas.

Adding economic incentive to keep public lands accessible is fantastic, that gives me hope that our love for offroad riding will stick around for the next generation. Tread lightly, keep right, ride safe.

Just had a chance to watch this film and what a great success story. My wife and I are 40 days into a BDR ride and so far rode NM, AZ, parts of NV, and most of the ID BDR ( Snow still has some sections closed) but we made it to the Canadian border and are now hanging for a few days near Priest Lake with Friends, before continuing with the WA BDR and then make our way through OR and south into CA and ultimately into Cabo San Lucas for a Family get together in November. We have done UT and CO before and are looking forward to WY next year. THANK YOU for all you have done, the communities along the way love this. RIDE RIGHT>>RIDE WITH RESPECT!

I recognize that Pastor around the 48 minute mark(I could be mistaken). I’ve seen him at National Enduros sharing a fireside message the night before in the pits. Really interesting character. Got to live his worship on the trails attitude!

The BDRs are fun and just enough of an adventure for the bigger ADV bikes. However, I long for a bit more of a challenge - especially for mid to light weight dual sports. How about creating a BTR for backcountry TRAIL route? I love the routes that Tour of Idaho and Ridaho have created. We need more like those in every state!

All of the riding, thrills, chills, camararderie, joy, epic scenery, excitement, and small towns were great to see. However, I didn't like the crashing. No Sir, been there done that. It wasn't fun for me. Even the experts were going down. I'm glad no one was seriously injured. If I ever decided to ride one of these BDR routes, it would have to be one of the easier routes.

Yay Oregon for fighting against the signs and wanting to be excluded from the community of BCDR (sarcasm). They do it on their own and even though I have not ridden the route, it is definitely not updated like these others. The resources and the available up to date information is lacking compared to this group. I love living in Oregon but it is not the best for motorcycles compared to other states for sure.

Loved the nebdr. But, I do have one issue. Why dont the BMW big bike riders show a little bit of courtesy and pull their goldwings with dirt tires on them over so riders who can actually ride a bike without having to stop to reset the traction control and abs can ride in before theses highway bikes with riders who cant ride worth a shit with out all the computer bullshit head in to plug up the route and need 4 people to lift up the bike. Seriously. Do you really need a 1200 cc 700lbs to ride a trail? Seriously, learn to ride or get a smaller bike. Just sick of the big money people causing delays. Learn to ride!
