It creates more danger for the public, that's why they did it. Fleeing suspects are more likely to injure or kill other drivers or pedestrians than if they arent fleeing.

That is true because sometime around last month a police officer in lorton Ohio shot a golden retriever, because it charge towards the officer, since the dog go wanted to play with the officer. It’s pretty hard to tell if he shot him because he’s corrupt or if he was actually scared because he claims he was scared that it would attack him. Which I’m not sure if it’s an excuse or if he actually thought that tbh.

yes, he was let go, but it wasn't even for shooting the dog, it was because he didn't turn his bodycam on right after he got out of his cruiser. @@jayasmrmore3687

The GOLDEN rule is if it has teeth it can bite Poorly backyard bred goldens with aggressive behaviour and reactive traits are becoming more and more common as the breed gains popularity. Just because they're cute and fluffy doesn't mean they aren't still dogs

The woke left in our state is disgusting, imagine if that person in the Kia was wanted for murder or committed a violent offense after that chase and it could have been prevented, I hate this state 🤦‍♂️ I have a few LEO friends and did a ride along with my king county sheriff buddy, we chased a guy before this law and the guy had multiple warrants for his arrest.

It’s tricky because you want the deputy to be able to chase but you don’t realize how dangerous chases are. You’re seeing a lot of departments put in their policies that you can’t chase. Here in Colorado an officer was chasing a stolen car, the suspect ran a stop sign and hit another car killing two people. Stolen property isn’t worth someone’s life. Has nothing to do with the left or right.

Definitely recognize the Monterra Apts, moved out to Eastern WA last year. Sheriff in there so often I told them they might as well have a station there full time and they were like yeah no kidding! Stay safe! Thank you for your service 🙏

LOL, probably one of the most boring police "shows" on youtube.

I used to ride with my best friend with the Dallas Police. What really happens regularly is that people speed past the Police car doing the speed limit at a high rate of speed. Why would anybody do this is a mystery to me. About half the time we would get into a chase with them. They start turning on neighborhood streets and we lose them half the time. Then we have to go to the usual car accidents. When we go into a restaurant to eat at lunch time, the Police always offer to pay but the restaurant owner will not let then. I don't know how it is now, but that was the way it was years ago. Lots of speeding ticket writing and also just warning people that there is something wrong with their car that they didn't know about like a light out. There were no speed traps or anything like that. They didn't have to. I think it really opened my eyes about the things the Police see every day that citizens don't think about. I believe that if all the the city officials had to ride so many hours a month with the Police, it would improve many things. These observations were before the madness of the drug culture so I don't know how it is now.

Wow, sounds like Washington state laws favor the criminals more well had this been in Arkansas. That would’ve not have been the case they would’ve gone after them and gotten them.

I want to commend these officers for not automatically just shooting that Pitbull, the poor dog doesn't know any better look at the environment it's in. I own a pitbull and they are some of the most loving loyal dogs. It was clear that dog was simply scared of what was going on. Great great job!

@johnwarden1107 if you not able to successfully control you dog whihc regardless of breed is a wild animal the we domesticated then it deserves what ever happens to it there are leash laws in place to protect people and Animals alike. Clearly this dog is aggressive and shouldve been better secured.

Note to self Washington state doesn’t chase stolen cars. It’s becoming that if you can make it to your car after committing a crime your home free.

The pursuit law has changed in WA State since this video was made one year ago.

It blows my mind that this is all one day, one shift...

Sounds like the new chase law will allow me to, at random, “borrow a car that is left running and not worry if I keep it for a few days.. as long as I garage it while parked on my property and wear gloves while with car!! Sweet a savings for me.
