Brilliant concept for in the bag, this should be the standard. Also, this Ricky dude has a real knack for that frisbee golf.

Agree, Best in the bag presentation I have seen. Excellent shot selection, excellent commentary.

What I love about Rick is that he mostly throws stock stuff; that's what he said he was going to do when he first joined DD. This is endearing quite frankly. I feel like so many pros have these special one off discs and runs that are impossible to find. Maybe we see this less nowadays though but still I really like this about Ricky

I remember Paul ulibari talking about how to get a really good far flying nuke, and that you need to go through maybe 20 to find one. I'm gonna save that $380 and use the first one I get until I lose it.

@@subspaceanomaly Agreed, "stock stuff" still doesn't mean you'll get the same disc. There was a video where Paul McBeth indirectly talked about going through a stack of 20 new discs, all same run, to pick out the ones with flight characteristics he preferred to bag. For the average person we don't get that luxury. Granted, we're not even in the same talent league as them, but it's kind of shocking that there can be such a big variation in supposedly brand new 'identical' discs.

@@cup_and_cone it's probably also true that if these pro's were only able to play with the one they were given they could adapt to the disc. I'm not particularly amazing but after a couple of throws I can learn the disc and make it work. Being a full time professional disc golfer isn't very appealing

@@subspaceanomaly Ya, they could definitely adapt and make it work eventually, but they're looking for very specific performance so probably don't bother after the first couple throws. One thing I've learned through watching pros on social media do bag swaps or disc challenges, even when it's a model they're familiar with and bag, they will frequently shank it or overturn it because they're not used to the exact flight of that particular disc. It kind of puts it in perspective how much manufacturing tolerance there is, even if they're using the same identical mold. I think so much of flight characteristics come down to how the disc cooled off, was it in the bottom or top of a stack while cooling, etc.

@@cup_and_cone the variation in discs to me seems like changing sponsor brand probably isn't much of a big deal as you're still adjusting to the disc.

This is actually how I want to watch all future in the bag videos.

I love how he goes to slower disc to get more distance. It just shows how great Ricky is at reading the appropriate line, throw form and disc selection. It shows me how with great form, you dont need a super fast disc to go far.

Ricky is a strong communicator. His explanation of why he uses a particular disc coupled with the demonstration of what he just said is perfect. I'm eager to try some of these discs.

Nice little change up to the ITB video. I like getting to see all Ricky's discs and why/when he throws them. Also I can't wait to try out the Supreme Fugitive. It's been the Supreme mold I've been most excited about.

I like that you show what disc you would throw, and a disc that you don’t want to throw, and then explain why. I’ve learned it’s important to know what different discs do and how to use them. I’m glad to see an honest video instead of “here’s this disc, and why you should bag it immediately!” Thanks for the great content, Ricky!!

I really dig this style of In The Bag! Others have done the explainers on which shots they need which discs for, but I haven't seen one that goes through the thought process behind the shot shapes. I hope this style becomes a standard for DD ITBs!

This was the best type of in the bag I’ve seen much more interesting to see how they actually use the discs for the shots rather than just talk about it really enjoyed this! Although I didn’t enjoy the hidden disc in there haha. On the other hand it makes me want to get out and practise some more with my new raptor eye slammer!

best ITB I've ever seen. The graphic transition on the slammer - perfection 👌 never, ever do an ITB without showing the discs being thrown. Any brand that does that should rethink their career.

I think some combination of this and a standard in the bag would be the perfect mix. Love seeing the shots and the thoughts behind them, but this is a little bit scattered at times. Maybe just some graphics at the end of each section showing all the discs in order of speed or stability would button this up nicely.

Are the socki slammers going to be released in a more durable premium plastic? Perhaps fluid 😁 which in my opinion is the most durable plastic unless you lose it, it essentially doesnt beat in and it feels great....also im very excited for the new fugitive
