Ricky is the type of personality we really need in our society today. Straight talking, honest and says what he sees. His observations from nearly 15 years ago are still so relevant today. Who else would goto prison for their principals today?
He is bang on with properties, the houses today fall apart after 10-15 years, yet a house built in the 60s still stands strong today... this man is a legend

@@mattandersonmusic lol yeah tell me about it new builds nightmare and new flats/apartments, especially when u can hear the couple next door going for a leak, literally hear them going for a tinkle! Going for a piddle in the middle of the night should be outlawed under indecent exposure or disturbing the peace!!! Lmfao 🤣 🤣 🤣
A real down to earth gentleman.
I love Ricky fellow scouser and I have seen him protesting in town for the Dockers and Builder what an absolute scouse gem! Is right la 🙏🏼

Paul Mcdonough I know but he grew up in Liverpool he was born there because of the war so he is a scouser not his fault there was a war and couldn’t be born in the city his ma is from 😂
He is such a REAL person 👍
Such a funny and FUN man. I love all of his work.
!00% agree with what Ricky is saying about the building industry. I was a concreter for over 30 years..., and I have seen a "display home" built by a builder (this was a double brick home) in 6 weeks from start to finish..., bloody disgusting. The bricklayers were laying bricks the day "AFTER" I poured the concrete floor. Retired 15 years ago..., but still like it today.
Ricky Tomlinson is the type of person I could sit and talk to him for hours with a couple of pints also we have the same birthday so I always wish him happy birthday

I bloody love him and just about everything he’s done with his life. Good laugh too, I think it’s a fair to say in most ways, he’s the Scouse Brian Blessed.

And weirdly.. Brian Blessed isnt actually Welsh!
Ricky is a diamond. Johnny boy seems to have forgotton that he is working class, Ricky didn't
15 years ago and he is saying the NHS is in decay and the angels dont get paid enough! Why has it taken a globel crisis for us to reconise these heros?

They may be recognised but they've not been adequately rewarded.
Ricky was great as Bobby Grant in Brookside, Jim Royal in the Royal Family and hillarious as Mike Bassett England Manager
The way he says' I don't know lad ' I think went above his head Johnathan Ross's head.
Top bloke!!! So funny and relaxed
Love this fella…
Happy Birthday, Ricky! :) Both you and me.
Brilliant Man 👍 love ❤️
National treasure. We should be ashamed not to appreciate This 1 of 1. Just like Caroli..😓❤️.
God I love him.

It's interesting to note they put in a high security prison when there is an open prison just a few miles away.

He talks about that a lot actually- he admits he was ignorant and learned from his mistakes. Exactly what we ask many people to do.
Is he related to Louis
