Jennings, Bell, Gray, and Pearsall (Pettis 2.0). A wasted pick, could have gotten a solid DB/OL/DL.

Some of the grabs this dude makes are straight insane. I'm not just talking about the one-handed one, though that might actually be the most insane catch I've ever seen (it's definitely up there). He does it a lot, including on this highlight reel. With Purdy getting his first full training camp and already having accuracy as a huge strength, I think we may have a lethal combo here.

Dude is a silky smooth route runner to. Good burst and speed, great hands and some nice double moves and jukes. He'll fit in perfect and is ready for NFL

As a Gator fan he is a very good receiver. The passing game at UF was nothing to write home about these last couple seasons and he consistently made plays in spite of that. He is quick, and seems to just have an ability to always get open, plus he has good hands. This was absolutely a reach though imo. 🤔

The guy is amazing all around receiver he’ll work fantastic with the 9ers, this was not even close to some of his best highlights too

Speaking to my 49ers fans. Did we something in that SB that warranted us to make this pick? I know Debo couldn’t get open and was a complete no show, Kittles couldn’t get open and BA was going against one of the top 5 DB’s in the league so I knew it would be tough sledding for him in the SB. I think we had to make this pick because of how are WR’s were on lockdown during the SB.

Great pick, fits perfectly into the 49ers offensive system. Another weapon to add to that arsenal. Offensive line will be addressed in the second round, not to worry. Purdy is going to love this guy.

I will say after seeing more of his combine stats, he did measure elite. Fastest 3 come at the combine, 42” vertical, 10’9” broad jump, with good hands and route running. He was certainly underrated, I still think the niners could have done some maneuvering to get better value, but ultimately, I think he will be a good fit in the offense. Hoping for some o line, cb, or DE today.

He seems to have good size and I notice that he can line up in multiple spots which means a lot, it means he’s smart most of all. This is an Old school ED McCAFFERY look for sure! Pearsall looks like a good possession receiver, but the Niners need SPEED at the WR position to get behind the defense. From these highlights, he has great hands, but never ran away from anyone. We already have that in Deebo, Jennings and Aiyuk.

Slot guy like a Cooper Kupp always open. I like this him and Aiyuk played togther in AZ and are buddys.

People always want Randy Moss. But these are the players that win you ball games. Oh, and he is top 95% in athletic measurables, BTW. Oh, and he showed up well at the Senior Bowl. Something good future NFL players tend to do.

Could have had Johnny Newton, Kool-aid Mckinstry, Jackson Powers-Johnson, etc. Hope this is worth it

As a Niners fan this is not ideal…I see a lot of throwaway highlights. Usually at a time where they have no chance in the game at all if you pay close attention. Obviously the defense doesn’t care in those situations at end game and in blowouts and to go first round based off those “highlights” is just wild. Again..niners fan here, kinda sad. Hopefully we keep Aiyuk, cause this move for sure ain’t it

all of us niner fans can see the glaring issues on this team. if we had solid blocking on that offensive line, brock purdy doesnt get injured in that philly game and he also doesnt get steam rolled in the superbowl when aiyuk was wide open in the endzone....not to mention the trey lance ankle injury, and all of the jimmy g injuries. how many QBs need to get hurt for us to understand what the issue is here? meanwhile, youre insinuating that we need to be head coaches in order to have pattern recognition? or are you implying that we need to be head coaches in order to know when and where to pick in the draft? if the latter, i can easily debunk that with simple stats. i just saw a chart the other day that showed the hit rate for WRs taken in the first round. WRs have the lowest of every position. meanwhile, guards and tackles are the highest when taken in the first round and then fall off a cliff in later rounds. sure, the niners could find some fluke ass player that turns out to be a pro bowler, but the probability is low. they needed to move up and get one of the handful of tackles taken before 31. that was imperative....also to your point, clearly, kyle doesnt know how to win superbowls either because hes been to 3 of them in total, 2 as a head coach and has lost each time. maybe its time to realize that he may need to get with the times and adjust his ideologies.

If we take Debo out and have Pearsall in with Aiyuk, it would work. Both Persall and Aiyuk are basically the same in terms of game play. They both cut and go in or out.
