It just feels like the classic internet mentality of building something up just to tear it down. Nothing about Kyro's beliefs or Berra's beliefs has changed since they started their companies. People are just "suddenly" upset about it. I would LOVE for anybody to find an example where they used their platform/status to push their beliefs on others. In all my years of watching Braille, I've never seen Scientology mentioned in a single video of the 2000+ uploads they've had. If Aaron was actively selling his religious beliefs on his channel, I would have stopped watching a long time ago...and not even because it's Scientology, but anybody pedaling ANY religion is off-putting as hell. But to go behind the scenes, dig into somebody's personal life, and then judge them for their beliefs is fucked up. This is where people like Ben Shapiro are right about the "liberal left". If you're casting out anyone who doesn't follow your rigid views of worthiness, there's nothing "liberal" about you. And that's the toxicity of cancel culture. Somehow, traditional leftist ideals of open-mindedness and tolerance have been twisted into judgment and hatred. It's like we've completely forgotten that the basis of this country is that you're supposed to be able to have differing beliefs and opinions and STILL be able to get along and work together. Tim Pool decided to adopt the logo for his brand in protest and is currently awaiting a cease and desist which has yet to come after 6 months of using the logo. Most people assume it to be a Nazi symbol because of seeing it in WW2 movies and docs, but that version specifically has a swastika in the middle. The Cross itself came from Prussia, and is actually still used by the German military to this very day.
