By now with the amount of people who have seen The Office or even David Brent: Life on the Road, I bet if he took Foregone Conclusion on the road, he'd do really well. I actually really like this song and Freelove Freeway, actually pretty good lyrics for being wrote for a skit basically

It's actually genius that this is channelled through his David Brent Character. He knows he's good enough to put a song together and sing a tune, but he doesn't want to be a rock star. It's sincere, mostly factually accurate but written for comedy through an already successful character. He's added a whole other layer to David Brent. Ricky G played 4D chess with his best pieces.

I love his voice, I love him. I found out about him from family guy when he did the voice of Billy fin. And he does that same laugh when he was on the office in season 7 with Michael Scott. I just got done watching all of the office with Steve Carell and now I want to see the original. Love Ricky Gervais voice

Not so - the head shake to one side is linked to the lyrics about not needing the hard shoulder - if you see the official video he makes a much more decisive hand gesture but obviously limits it to a head movement in this case
