@@davidhaworth7152 no it doesn’t compare. Stew and Ricky would smoke Tomac and especially Sexton with his smooth throttle roll through the corner crap. @@rediron44 I think RC is the only racer in history to start off pro winning, (after a few bugs worked out quickly), to last over a 10 year career, (10.5 with RC), and keep raising the bar every time he got challenged. From knocking off MC in SX, (won't even mention 125 nationals), to Reed, Windham, Pastrana, Alessi, Everts, (IMO), Tortelli, Cobra, Stewart, RC was the only rider in the History of the sport who rose up to victory every time. 21 different series for a pro career, (he was out 1 SX series with a knee problem, Reed Won), and he retires with over a 83% win average. My explanation for his massive success? When he started winning big amateur races as a kid in public JH school, (as a short, fat, red head freckled Ginger), the "Bullies" stopped picking on him. "I was sacred to death to lose! I know no sports psychologist would say competing in fear is good, but that is what I did." "Quote from the Whiskey Throttle show interview with RC. School Bullying made RC the GOAT. Now that is "Hitting back" big time. :)

No one can ever be like RC outdoors especially.. 10 straight MX titles never lost one.. 2 undefeated 24/24 motos and a third undefeated if you count overall wins (lost 2 motos, one being landed on by James). But dungey is 2nd all time in both outdoor titles and wins. You don’t luck into that, only guy that may pass or tie him in titles is Eli if he wins this season and next. I imagine he’ll retire after 2022. Dungey also has 4 SX titles and should of won 5, but RV won due to dungey loosing 25 points due to chain being derailed, he lost by less than 25. He also should of won a 4th outdoor title but while being out nearly a minute of RV his boiled his fuel and lost that title after losing a full Moto and lost the title by less than 25. He was a hell of a rider, he was just too text book in his style that appeared slow and mechanical. But I’d give my left but for his stats and money, coming straight outta the B class he’s legit as they come whether you like him or not

2 strokes always made it look like the riders were going faster than what their actual speed was. These guys brought that 2 stroke riding style to 4 strokes because that was all they knew and for a few years it made the racing exciting in a way that I think is lost today. Riding technique had to change in order to get the most out of a 4 stroke but to me it looks kind of robotic.

The tracks are a lot faster today (probably because of the faster 4-stroke engines and the FIM influence/force on our track owners today.). SXC tracks are about 25% faster, (1 min to 45 seconds), and the national tracks are about 40% faster (from 3:15 to 2 or less). Racers are now starting to die on the tracks because of the increased crashing forces..

James and his family had to overcome a system that is set up for them to fail. From James not having a 450, to Chads "rivalry", to his drug suspension are all prime examples of this system. If it were Ricky, 450's would have waited until the next year, Chad would be seen as the dickhead he is, and Ricky would be the poster boy for adderall and probably be praised for being brave. At every race James is five times more likely to have a run in with the law then any other racers besides Malcom. AND that is the straight up truth!

The FIM is evil, and dictates that our tracks today are very similar and made to keep everybody the same speed. For an individual to come out and win 22 motos in a row on them IMO, is even more amazing than these 2 guys. I promise you, I understand the communistic philosophies of the FIM, and that pisses them off.

I see a lot of people rc meat munching but ima tell you now j stew was a great competitor, I don’t think he was better then rc but he damn sure was close , rc had a lil better technique but he crashed a few times himself riding on the edge but his technique got him saved if he did crashed were he can continue a moto , I see people saying oh jstew couldn’t keep up that’s why he crashed alot well rc was the better man an stew came in having something to prove so if riding a lil faster was needed to beat rc he would do it that’s what true champions do to win that’s why y’all talking about stew today, cuz all in all he did what he was suppose to do to win ,WHATEVER IT TAKES , these guys these days don’t got that in them even tho they have better equipment and some type of teachings from the greats , technique was still a lil fresh in the rc stew era , but if u have athlete that’s the best at something an you wanna beat that person your gonna have to get on the edge an that’s exactly what stew did not too mention he wasn’t always reckless , I think he sometimes was a lil to far on the front of the bike an not the balls of his feet , that’s why he crashed a lot but wen you see rc he stays in the neutral position most times so wen mistakes happen he can most likely recover , legendary riders #1 n 2# in my book villapoto #3 tomac #4

The big factor is these tracks and earlier were made to separate the talent, (tighter, more technical). Today's socialist/commie FIM tracks are made to keep everybody the same speed. That is why we see 10 guys on the same second for fast lap times today. Jett did break the commie anti-spirit of the FIM with 22 straight moto wins though, and that makes him great,---and pissed off the FIM at the same time. :)

no disrespect to Reed or Bubba, but Reed could never keep up with the top riders, very good, but not a great. Bubba was lighting on the small bikes, but always out of control on the bigs, and could only win if he was strong enough that day to hold on, unfortunately he took out many other riders when he would wipe out. RC was simply the best, most consistent rider to ever step on the track.....without him the other two might be rated a bit higher.

He was handed a Supercross championship for 2023 when Tomac went away injured otherwise it is doubtful he would have been #1. Chase is exactly like Dylan Ferrandis and is a 1 time champion only. Chase needs to step it up with a positive attitude, forget everyone else and be a grown up man and stop the years long same old excuses/reasons of not winning.
