Para mi, Rick Wakeman es uno de los más grande músicos que he conocido en mi ignorante vida. Desde que escuche Journey to the Center of the Earth a los 15 años (ahora tengo 59) quede enamorado de su música. Journey lo habré escuchado cientos de veces y no me canso. La primera vez que lo escuche en un walkman casí tuve un orgasmo auditivo, jajaja. Es un privilegio que todavía esté entre nosotros componiendo y deleitando nuestros oídos. This was absolutely magical ! Rick Wakeman has been the soundtrack of my life for over 50 years, and I truly loved this concert. So glad I stumbled upon it ! Ashley Holt is the true and everlasting voice of these classics and he's wonderful here. The interplay between Rick and Adam was simply amazing. I can't even think as fast as Rick can play the keyboards. The camera work and quality of the video was excellent, giving a real view of Rick's keyboardsmanship, his facial expressions, Ashley singing songs I've loved since the 70's, the amazing guitarwork of the session guy (who is he??); it was all just so well done, and then edited so professionally, by someone who obviously loves these guys as much as we do. Brian May was a surprise treat, and his guitarwork on Starship Trooper (appropriate since Sir Brian is an astrophysicist...) was unreal. There were many points during this concert that I got chills. Rick, I flew to London (from NJ, USA) for your last performance of Journey with the whole crew. I can't thank you enough for all the thousands of hours of joy you've brought me over the decades, including most recently this 2.5 hours of pure joy. Edit - make that 5 hours. I just watched this a second time in quick succession, distracted only by writing this review and doing work with one eye (oh there is that on my desk, also).

My uncle introduced me to Rick Wakeman well over 40 years ago and I have been an absolute fanboy ever since. That single introduction has steered my taste and interest in music for nearly half a century.

I had the fortune of shaking hands with both Rick and Brian back in the 80s. Those are moments that will endure in my memory for the rest of my life.

Rick Wakeman, as everybody said "The best of the best, incredible keyboards". I used to have a rock group back in the '70s and I tried to play Yes, long history, I never had that virtuosity. Now he is a Brother Mason as myself, and we are almost the same age. I am an Admirer of this Marvelous Musician and incredible music creator. I hope in the future he will create music for the Three Degrees.

You're right about that - I even discovered that way that he was the pianist on Cat Stevens' Morning Has Broken once the piano started!!! No prompting whatsoever, I was hearing it and thought "hey, that's Rick!?!"

What a fine 2 plus hours of masterpiece music. Rick Wakeman is the best keyboardist of all time and Brian May is right up there as one of the best guitarist. Music for the ages.

And in particular the stuff he did with David Bowie, beginning with the Space Oddity Mellotron, the Life on Mars piano and later the Absolute Beginners piano.

Rick Wakeman is my alltime favo keyboardplayer.

Wakerman and May !! luxury to see them together, I saw them separately with their groups in Buenos Aires. Two different but wonderful styles

I loved '39, great Queen song. Trooper sounds like Trevor's version!

Rick Wakeman is a musical genius. Nice to see his son performing on stage with him.

I had the chance to be at his presentation in Buenos Aires on 1980 or 1981, at Luna Park. I am unable to describe the feelings at the time, which still remain untouched. Being a Yes fun and particularly a Rick´s....you can imagine. Rick´s music is cosmic.

Matt Pegg of Procol Harum. A great musician. His dad Dave Pegg played bass for Fairport Convention abd Matt did shows for them too. Dave Colquhoun is of course on guitar.

We all know Rick is a genius and highly respected musician, but his "gift' for beautiful melodies is so underrated. The Melody in Arthur is simply Heart Breakingly Beautiful.

Lo escuché por primera vez en el LP Fragile, a partir de ese momento nunca más pude dejar de deleitarme con su música. Hoy tengo 60 años y espero seguir disfrutando sus melodías mientras mi cabeza y oídos funcionen

Stumbled across this and so glad I did! Seeing Brian May up there reminded me of seeing Queen at the Public Hall in Cleveland, OH, on what I believe what their first tour in America{pre Night at the Opera}. And then if that wasn't rewarding enough for this teenager, I saw Rick with the Cleveland Symphony Orchestra perform Journey to the Center of the Earth in the same venue. For the encore they came back out and did the second half again, such a treat!

Creo que todos hemos tenido y creído en lo que nos tocó vivir, pero esto es un disfrute de música que cala muy hondo, que te estremece, que te hace viajar, soñar, se te para los pelos y también llorar...Feliz de haber pertenecido a una generación con tanta riqueza musical..GRANDE MAETRO WAKEMAN y GRACIAS!!!!

me sumo...a mi King Arthur me hace llorar...quizá tenemos eso que se llama coneccion entre nuestra alma y estas melodías que nos elevan, esa generación de Yes, Gentle Giant, Jethro, Genesis y tantos otros no se repetirá quizá hasta muchaaas décadas más.

Realmente espectacular..los ví en vivo en Caracas...no habrá otro igual...

Damn, I love Rick Wakeman and prog but it's so unfair to say those types of music don't involve talent. And harmony is optional, if you enjoy prog you should enjoy experimentation beyond harmonic boundaries.
