Hey hey, you voted on which couple I should use with this song and Rick & Michonne won by a small margin, but won nevertheless, so here it is. I've always really liked the 'Richonne' ship, as the cool kids call it. I liked that there was actually a chemistry between them already back in season 3 and that they built on it, rather than just make it a seasonal arc like what usually happens in The Walking Dead.
The song is nice and tragic which fits both Rick Grimes and Michonne Hawthorne. I love how they didn't get to have their goodbye to each other, it's tragically beautiful and it represents perfectly how in TWD you can lose your love ones at any second. Like Rick would tell Carl back in season 5: "one second, and it's over".

Michonne is such an admirable character. The fact that she knew there was a child that needed formula so she brought it and that was her character introduction is awesome

Wasn't a coincidence: symbolically,she came bearing milk that the deceased birth mother couldn't supply. Doing so,she anticipated what her eventual role would be in all Grimes' children's lives.

I never thought I would see such a wholesome and heartbreaking relationship come out of this show. I love Michonne and Rick so much as individuals and when they became a couple it was simply magic.

My girlfriend absolutely hates zombie movies and tv shows, she hates gore and horror and Iv'e spent months trying to convince her that those things are present but they're not what The Walking Dead is really about, it's this... relationships, finding something or someone in a horrible, twisted, fucked up world that doesn't care about you to live for, to make it all worth it.
