Rick is aging well, still a twinkle in his eye - a Canadian cultural giant! 💙🇨🇦
I miss watching this man every week. He showed us all how beautiful and wonderful this country was and the people in it. I still watch the clips on You Tube and enjoy every minute of them.
Rick Mercer is a national treasure.
I’ve been watching Rick since he began his career and miss him so much! Not only is he a brilliant orator, actor and comedian but he’s a very sensitive. aware, humble and compassionate human being. ❤❤
Cathy and Mary were at their best in character. I remember them as the two little old ladies walking around Sullivan's Pond and putting the world to rights. Who could forget Mary Walsh's characters, she was hysterical.
Such a great entertainer! Miss his excursions and all the things he put himself through to show us Canada!
Absolutely love Rick Mercer, a wonderful Newfie and Canadian.
Rick Mercer is a class act. He's a national hero. ❤
I miss seeing & hearing from this human on a regular basis.

The book is fantastic, as was this interview! He is a national treasure whether he knows it or not.
This was an absolute joy to watch. Was smiling the whole time. So many incredible and engaging insights over the course of this conversation. I would go as far as to say that the combined contributions of these two gents from the beautiful province of Newfoundland have raised the bar of our public broadcaster substantially. Brilliant stuff!
The book is hilarious! Thank you Rick Mercer for being you.
What a great interview! I learned so much. Thank you Rick!

Love Rick❤ I look forward to reading his book! Great interview! The best friend of my dreams. 😉
Love you two ❤ thanks for sharing
The Globe & Mail joke was great. :D
Love ya Rick!!!
Just two of my favourite 'Rockers' !
Tom.....any one from western Canada knows...you are a Newf. And we love you.
We need to bring back the RMR.......................I miss your witty ways and not afraid to call out the hypocrisy. Besides, we need more of you and Jann on TV, you two were hilarious.
How delightful! Two of my favourite people❤
And a great book, Rick's great.
Listened to Rick last night on a podcast with Dr Bowler who is Professor at Duke in Durham, NC. The best hour of my day! I am Canadian living in US and listening to his description of Newfoundland was heart warming! Would love to hear what Rick thinks of truckers in Canada and the Americans who (suddenly) are so VERY interested in Canada. @Rick. Consider a return to TV commentary. A rant is warranted at this time.
so nice to hear Rick voice and figure again, very interesting talk.
Have loved.his work forever. I wonder if he knows he's an icon. It was not only the laughter; it was the brilliant use of the English language. It was tudaci
It is a fabulous book! My only complaint (?) is that he stopped before the Rick Mercer Report. I guess I have to wait for the sequel. If it's half as funny as Talking to Canadians, it will be a real treat to read that one too.
#Granny’sOffHerRocker Hello grandma Canada here I was so happy to see my grandson Rick on the show Isn’t he just wonderful? Did you know that he spoke to many Americans even in universities he spoke to presidents he has spoken to Governors he’s really really a good boy Doesn’t call his grandma as much as he should And I’m old It’s not like I’m gonna be around forever AnyWho I’m not here to complain about a little Ricky doesn’t call his grandma anymore I’m here to tell you that you need to go on the Google And then you look for Rick Mercer’s talking to Americans the 45 minute TV special He’s really a good boy Even though he doesn’t call his grandma And I’m old I’m not gonna live forever But grandma still loves him !

that was terrific
It's cool that he grew up in Middle Cove. The beach there is rocks instead of sand. The sound of the rocks settling is hypnotic. My stepmother had a house there, and she and my dad spent summers there for years. The rest of the year they were in Texas. After my dad passed, I drove her from Houston to Middle Cove for her last visit to her home. Later that summer (2008) I flew back to drive her to Houston again. Rick's father Ken was who picked me up at the airport. I never met Rick, though.
M son is a big fan as we xo
💕♥️💕♥️💕♥️💕♥️💕♥️💕♥️💕♥️💕♥️💕
I wonder if that company of actors realize they invented Rick Mercer?
I loved the book, it is fantastic!! I wish he could come back with a show.. but I don't watch CBC anymore... such a leftist and liar media...

It's this thing called aging. Time exists, and it affects us all. Ask your parents about it, because you're obviously a child.
