For the ones who understand; Rick just took the shit out of performances, tv appearances and videos. It was a bit of a backdraft towards his carreer, but he was always genuine towards his own artistery. It just shines....😘

I was one of the camera ops on this show. The only thing I remember about RJ was that he was trying to give his hotel rm key to any of the female extras. Not sure if he scored. That was a busy day.

Great job on the directing. And publishing, I was so mad that Rick never had a chance to perform this song and Moonchild. Now, I find out he did. The Bass was rocking!

Rick James said in his book confession of a super freak that he messed up the A-Team gig because he was always high and had the producer to have a cue card so he can read the lines but when he had the opportunity to do one Life to live he said he not going to make that same mistake anymore and I never seen this one before thanks for uploading it

On my, this was my song. ‘Spend a Night’ This song should have been part of that Batman movie soundtrack instead of Prince that year. I thought James Bond missed out... instead of Rick James they picked Prince ridiculous Bat dance.

I agree with batdance but as far as the rest of the batman album prince did that the producers decided to not put into the movie it was epic and very cutting edge and would lead up to prince's npg debut

Prince ripped off Rick James in every way. It's noted that when Prince was on Tour with Rick in the early 80's he slowly evolved into Rick Jr. He taped his shows and evolved into the Midwest version of Rick James.
