This poor guy he as been through so much and now it feels like it was all for nothing..the fact he wanted to die just brings me to tears every time...and all he wanted was to be with his family and after all his pain he still could not be with them it is truly so sad😭🧟‍♀️

At the start of TWD, Rick is looking for his family. At the start of TOWL, Rick is awash is CRM/half-hearted suicide attempts-escapes. Amid near impossible odds; Michonne finds him. The parallels are beautiful.
