Name Those Notes: 13:57
The competitive edge of guitar players: 27:32

Today’s guitar villain is Rick Graham. Rick is easily one of the most humble guitar players on the planet, and you know what that means when the word humble is used to describe a guitarist: that’s right, they’re an absolute monster player. Rick can play things most people would think is impossible to do on a guitar, and yet his musicality is what stands out most-he’s a true maestro and an even better person, and throughout this episode you’ll understand time and again why Rick is one of the most respected guitarists on the planet, on today’s episode of Guitar Villains.

Rick Graham's classical chops are the real deal. Most of the times when shredders play the classical guitar, the sound is not here at all, but this guy plays perfectly with the nails plus the interpretation is really researched . What a beast....

I played my 76 Les Paul professionally for over 25 years until it caused a spinal cord injury that caused the loss of feeling in my pinky and half my ring finger (well I couldn't walk but I didn't care as much about that).I couldn't fret a note for a couple years so I had to start over from scratch and although I'm able to perform again I've kind of hit a wall. Anyone know anything that might help? 🙏 Thanks. This is the perfect podcast for us all.
