Thanks so much to Rick and the Blossoms. I have loved this song for so long and since the Smiths are no more, I would rather hear this than either Morrissey or Marr performing it on their own.

I completely agree! Having three guitarists definitely helped capture the atmosphere of the album version too. 3:12 onwards was bliss!!!

this was a spot-on rendition of my fave Smith song! Bless the Blossoms, your 3 guitar set-up captured the atmospheric vibe of the song, and Rick's singing is a fresh take too...from Disco to New Wave, well that's impressive Rick! thanks to your brother by the way for the influence.

Well done. From a musician and a Smiths fan back in the 80s. I don't remember them ever playing this one live. Nice electric guitar backing the acoustic as well. Very nice guys.

I don't get why he keeps getting raves for this show. His vocals are schmaltzy. Tom Jones-ish. It's not good. Blossoms did a great job though. I would have taken almost any decent female singer over Rick Astley. I think Rick seems like a great guy, and I enjoy some of his hits, but he just wasn't the right man for this job.
