Personally, I could feel the chemistry from the start. I couldn't believe the reaction they received on the internet when they finally hooked up. People were LIVID and it was horrible and disgusting. Just goes to show that love wins over racism and hate: Richonne forever

I guess I am too. It wasn't because I didn't see it. It's because I was more in a mode to notice threats and the things they were going through to see the romantic side. I mean, who has time for romance in that world? But when it happened, I was cheering and smiling. They deserved to find happiness with each other. They became my favorite couple on TV.

5:08 is such a strong parallel to what Michhones life HAS and now is (ones who live) she was always used to coming back to the ones she loved dead. In this scene she came back to them alive, it was here that she knew these two were different.

They make a perfect couple

This is my favorite TV series ever. It has a little bit of everything all rolled into one as it should be

I know they are great friends but when they are together on screen, magic happens. The chemistry is insanely amazing. I watch a lot of series and movies and never seen anything like this. Even in my romantic period dramas. Wow. I watched TWD because it was really good but mostly for their storyline. Of course I absolutely enjoyed TWD- TOWL. Us Richonne fans would love to see these 2 together again. Whether in TWD franchise or in another project.

My mom was so shocked when they became a thing, meanwhile I had been waaaaiiiiiting for it! Fellow writers, please take notes: THIS is how you write a slow burn. It’s not supposed to be dragging out a painfully forced ‘will they won’t they’ for the entire show, it’s introducing two characters without any strings attached and letting it develop on its own.

I love these two so much! The best slow burn on TV, and I usually don't like slow burns. The amount of times Rick eyebanged her was out of control, but people said they were more like siblings? Smh. From the moment she walked up to that prison, the sexual tension was palpable. My only issue was with the writers. All that buildup, and as soon as they get to Alexandria, they have him pretty much forget about Michonne to chase Miss Supercuts. Made no sense. You have people out there who would rather have seen Rick do to another man what Shane had done to him than see him with Michonne. It's obvious why. 😒
