RICHMART VINTAGE - Remarkable dance during a Bulgarian wedding in Vratsa!

HOLD ON, EARTH, VRATSA IS DANCING!
RICHMART VINTAGE project supporting the Bulgarian folklore dances and Bulgarian fashion industry, aiming to establish the brand “MADE IN BULGARIA”
THE MAGIC OF THE BULGARIAN FOLKLORE DANCE CONQUERS THE WORLD! WHY NOT?
1. Establishing the national identity! Bulgarian folklore is the richest folklore in the world in terms of rhythms.
2. Bulgarian folklore dance is one issue which can unite all the Bulgarians in the world.
3. The economic benefits of the project - using the Bulgarian folklore dance we can gain global PR and advertisement of the Bulgarian folklore, tourism and industry as a whole, which would help the establishment of the brand “MADE IN BULGARIA”. /The Bulgarians abroad are 2 million alone. If everyone participates in the project, given it takes 100 people to form traditional Bulgarian dance - that would mean 20,000 videos of Bulgarian folklore dances. Considering the creation of one video costs around 5,000 euro, that would mean the whole campaign is worth 100,000,000 euro!/
4. Bulgarian folklore dances with their unique uneven rhythms are not only Bulgarian’s fortune, but world’s as well.
5. The uneven rhythms have positive impact on the human’s health - THE ACTIVE DANCERS DO NOT SUFFER FROM CANCER OR SPINAL CURVATURE!
Given a scientific explanation, this news would attract huge interest from the whole world!
6. Establishing new Bulgarian folklore dances clubs around the world - new style in the physical activity of a person, which prevents the spinal curvature and cancers.
Let us all celebrate the 24th of May 2015 - the holiday of Bulgarian culture with a traditional Bulgarian folklore dance!
Let us all create one video /length 1-3 minutes/ with Bulgarian folklore dance to support this campaign.
Please, upload the videos with the following name “...your personal name… I LOVE BULGARIAN FOLKLORE DANCES!”
Let us all create a huge media campaign - “Hold on, Earth, Bulgarians are dancing!” Together we can make the whole world look forward to the 24th of May!
We would like to invite all the Bulgarians throughout the world and all the friends of Bulgaria!

This music and dance is probably over 2000 years old. As Balkans we can all keep our own language and traditions. What's important is where we come together in food, drink, music and dance. And that's all that really matters. I hope we can overcome.

Nope, these guys are just proffessional dancers ;). Basically, non professionals can not dance like that in Bulgaria. At 90% of the weddings, the normal people can dance couple of simple dances and that is it. The boys here clearly know what they are doing and it is nice when you have such friends at your wedding, but it is not a common thing.

@@genadidimov5206 Speak of yourself. No one can help you if you are a couch potato. Those are clearly NOT professionals but amateurs doing it as a hobby. Many Bulgarians are part of folk clubs. Personally I first learned my first dances at home or at weddings with grandma then with my friends who were part of a folk dancing ensemble, so yes on my own. We also learn folk dancing as part of the PE curriculum. Of course, these days there are many couch potatoes in Bulgarian schools, so they cannot move their feet.

They don't just casually know the dance. They are a trained ensemble of dancers that you can see several videos of who are all friends and go to each others weddings. This particular dance is one of the most difficult Bulgarian dances not to mention the fastest. My mom was a professional folklore dancer and on several competitions throughout Europe they forbade them to dance this because it was too fast and it was not fair to others. I myself was in Bulgarian Folklore Dance class for several years and not even the most advanced students were expected to dance at this level. Most Bulgarians know how to dance some of the more simple dances like Pravo Horo, Ruchenitza, Djangurica and Dunavsko Horo. This particular dance takes a long time and loads of practice to perform like that. These guys are pros and they are awesome at what they do but anybody who says that they know this dance since a child and it comes from inside i dare them to shoot a video of themselves dancing like that and post it

Nice dance but Bulgarian people never make an effort to dress respectably at a wedding, they look like there doing the garden.

Why, just because they do not look like Penguins in the same suits. What is the fun by dressing the same and looking boring, it is a wedding not a funeral. That is just snobbery.

@@genadidimov5206 its because ye couldn't be bothered and are not bought up with the same manners as the west also you dont know what and how people dress at a wedding if you think all the men only wear black suits. Its a very important day in a couples life, its called respect.
