99% of apps will not work in 10 years (lots have already been removed from the store), with the exception of games, which are not that important. All that closed source is a waste of time for developers, which have nothing best to do.

Has Free Software really gained awareness and interest over the past decades? I feel like we sometimes incorrectly assume it has because more people are upset over tracking, privacy invasion, information control etc. But I feel like those complaints are just "we wanna go back to proprietary programs like they were 20 years ago before tracking!" And very few of those critics care about if the source code is free

I'm an example of someone who has largely switched to open-source, even to great inconvenience and annoyance at times given my non-tech savvy nature. I also switched some of my basic habits for privacy purposes (with the help of Rob Braxman's channel). I just made this change starting in 2020 when I saw just how evil Big Tech really was. But I know a lot of people who understand these issues to varying degrees and don't like it at all, but do nothing at all. And it's very concerning. I bought LG Music Flow wi-fi speakers. They were only produced in 2015. I'm certain they were not produced with microphones in them. They were created to compete with Sonos which, at the time, did not have a "smart" speaker on the market. Alexa may have existed then, I'm not sure. But I believe no manufacturer had "smart" speakers available then. So no real worries there. We have a 2019 Hisense RokuTV with the dumb remote. No voice activation anything. No camera, and I'm HOPING no microphones. But the only way I can be certain is to open the TV and look, and that's not happening. My wife would kill me. My Google Pixel 6a has GrapheneOS installed and *_NO_* Google services whatsoever, and no logged in accounts. I use a browser to log in to email and banking. The phone I'm typing on has Google on it, but it's locked down as tight as Google will let me lock it, so no assistant available, and it NEVER leaves the house. I only use it to comment on KZread. I have glasses frames, and lenses, that thwart facial recognition cameras. GrapheneOS, as I said. My next steps are email aliases, anonymous phone numbers, and eventually shutting down my Google account completely. It's an arduous process to remove the matrix tentacles from my life. They crept in so easily. Very insidious.

RMS got railroaded. People forget history. For much of the early history of the USA, brothels were as common as dirt. An industry existed in the 1600's and the 1700's etc. to recruit young ladies, who had a propensity for provided services that pleased men. As far back as the 1980's the State of Texas sanctioned and taxed The Best Little Wh*rehouse in Texas. The woke culture came along and showed that local polticians were getting free-money under-the-table, to keep these businesses in operation. And that left a void for other brothel-managers to come in and secretly offer services. Many just made the drive to the border a few hours away, where the Mexican Government publically managed legal-brothels that were clean and had security. But the woke culture along with the cartels put an end to that beautiful historical industry. And that is where entrepreneurs like Epstein came along. He likely noticed young ladies were hooking up with sleazy con-artist to make p*rn videos, and beach-party videos. ( Girls Gone W*ld, etc. ). All he did was offer them an option, and they accepted it. Likely by the time, they got to the island, they were already 18 and had been doing tricks for 6 years to their middle-school gym-coach and preacher. The real criminals walked away with nobody noticing. Only people like RMS who commented vaguely about the system, were punished, and they were punished extremely.

I don't know about anybody else, but the ever increasing BS companies like MS make me go through any time I want to install their software is pushing me towards Linux with more and more strength. I'm now in-between worlds, half my stuff runs on Linux, half runs on Windows, and the part that runs on Windows is the less important stuff (video games). I'm certain that I'll be entirely out of the MS "ecosystem" long before the decade is out. I'm just tired of having to outsmart the shitstains that place fricking Candy Crush ads in my "start menu".

I mostly care about the privacy. Personally for me it's not important if I can inspect the code or change something. In case of free software - I think it would be great to set standards in industry so that people still can develop closed software but without the need to reinventing the wheel over and over.

Man, just sell it, your copy, your software, and believe me, without the documentation and what is wthet on source code copy of the source codes is useless, but people let study the code for education porpoise...everything isòķ normal just must to push public yor source code, and now is better time? Company study with team off people who just study the source code off open sources software like Blender etc, and implementing, and we have opposite done, with some payment you have access on Unreal source code and lot of sowtvare, think little if you understand me what I talking about, but if you programming you now how is In industry...
