Gasquet has the best single-handed backhand in the history of tennis, but his forehand needs to focus on more power and less spin, and I think that's his biggest liability. His forehand is not a weapon.

Gasquet hit the ball with a rotation of 47t/s, then followed by Roger 43t/s and Stan 39t/s. It's the highest rate in the world. That's how he can do hit like the one against Murray.

gasquet is the only player on tour where you would be better off hitting to his forehand, his backhand is absolutely lethal

Nadal a été blessé au moins aussi souvent et il a gagné 16 GC. Ce qui a empêché Gasquet d'aller plus haut c'est surtout le mental.

Kilian Davy Gasquet, Nadal, Djokovic, Monfils and Murray are in the same age group, so they used to compete regularly in the junior circuit and Djokovic himself admitted in an interview that Gasquet was best among them.

he should play solid and focus. games to be able to win title

How can this compilation not include the great passing shot in the US Open when Gasquet was full-on cramping. It was a night match and a passing shot that erupted the arena. I can't remember the year or match details...just the situation and shot.

I'm saddened to see the likes of Gasquet can't achieve what his potentials could've got him (I hope there's still time for him). His backhand oozes nothing but pure talent. But his game has never been polished further; as far as I can tell, he's still playing his teenage game. Look at Federer when he was 18, sure he had bags of talents, but man was he crap! I'm not aware of how strong or weak Richard's mental side is that is affecting his achievement, but I blame his coach(es).
