Richard should be super proud of the impact the show is having on survivors and rates of them coming forward as a result of more self understanding through Baby Reindeer. I hope one day I can make something that's both artistically authentic and unique and has a significant social impact. No show is perfect, but it felt perfectly authentic, honest and empathetic. ❤

Richard commented something like what does it say about out society that Baby Reindeer is so popular, that it speaks to the angst people are feeling. I binged on the series on the day it dropped so I didn’t know it was going to be so popular. After the first couple of episodes, I raved about it on Facebook. Then when I got to episode 4 I added a disclaimer, that maybe they want to read the synopsis and not watch that episode. NOT because it wasn’t superb, but it was so gut wrenching, and difficult to watch. For me it was the writing, acting and editing. And of course, the story was powerful and powerfully portrayed.

Bc of the impact of his character. People already found Martha (fiona harvey). I'm pretty sure he'll be on an interview soon but people are eager to actually find the director that did this to Richard. Because he's still in the industry.

Martha did say xenophobic things to Teri, but did she say anything transphobic? Considering Martha fully believed her to be a woman and was not aware she was trans

She said, “She looks like a man!” But I don’t think Martha knew Teri was trans until the last episode, after she saw the video of Donny’s breakdown. And then she said alllll kinds of phobic stuff.
